Little Willie, mean as hell, Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter."

t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. There's no other room in his house, so.

( yuu likes having his own space, yes, but more than that? he likes sticking close to his family. and guren's room is largeish, it should probably be fine. )

You could take over his room.

[She's joking. Well, mostly.]

You're from the same place he's from, right? [Since, you know, your clothes look similar to his uniform.]

Oh, yeah. He's my family. Kinda my boss, but not really. ( sometimes he listens sometimes he doesn't, basically. usually he doesn't. )

I'll probably take over his room.

He's kind of my boss too here. [It doesn't stop her from doing things like sending him chain mail or calling him a pervert or anything.]

What's your name? I'm Kaoru Akashi!

Yuuichirou Hyakuya.

( "kind of" someone's boss makes complete sense when it comes to guren, he gets it. )

What's he been doing around here?

He's leading the defense force. He's also offering to make people drugs.

[She happened to...also have asked him for some.]

And he's getting into trouble sometimes and not always doing a very good job at taking care of himself.

Make people drugs for what?

( like that's not weird or unusual at all considering the stuff he's put into yuu to help him but also. )

But that definitely sounds like Guren. The defense force? Did he make tiny squads in it, too?

It sounds like a lot of people wanted stuff that'd help them heal faster.

[Among other things.]

So he's always been bad at taking care of himself? [It wouldn't surprise her if that were the case.] He did! They rotate every two months. I guess he wants us all to meet new people. [Like a meddling dad.]

[culpa]

He's not bad at taking care of himself.

( considering how shit yuu is at taking care of himself, at least. guren's been good at keeping them both on their feet, as best as they could. )

I didn't know he could make drugs like that.

( the rotating sounds awful but also. whatever guren!! he gets it, friendship is important. )

[queenofminiskirts]

[She looks at Yuu for a moment and her expression is flat and unimpressed. Then she sighs.]

He got a hole blown through his chest while his power wasn't working properly and he didn't even stick around anyone who have healing powers.

[And she knows from Shiho that he's testing the drugs on himself so.]

I haven't tried anything he's made yet, but I'm sure if he's handing it out it must work.

[culpa]

( tbh that sounds like something guren would do, and something yuu would do, too, so he can't judge. they're not completely the same, him and guren, but guren is the one who taught him that: the selfish selflessness. )

But he made it out okay, right? He's still alive. Guren made my medicine too, so I know he can make stuff well.

[queenofminiskirts]

[The only conclusion she can draw from this is either Yuu is just as bad as Guren in this regard or, possibly, worse. (Kaoru you are only marginally better yourself...)]

Of course he made it out okay! But you know that's not the point, right? He's so busy protecting everyone...but I don't think he's even putting in half the amount of effort to make sure he's okay himself.

[She sounds like she's complaining now.]

Just because he can heal doesn't mean people won't worry when he acts like this.

[culpa]

( he's probably a little worse, but he gets where guren is coming from that, even if yuu would rather be the one to take hits, considering. his immunity to near-everything while guren is only immune to. most near-anything. )

Guren's strong and smart, he wouldn't get himself killed.

[queenofminiskirts]

I know that. But there's a difference between not getting himself killed and taking care of himself properly.

[Why is this even an argument that they're having...? Now she's worried about Yuu too...]

Anyway, if you're going to stay with him then keep an eye on him.

[culpa]

( because someone badtalked guren and even if he is bad at doing things yuu has to defend him at least a little. it's part of his thing. )

I will. I need him around for a while, and I'm sure everyone else does also. So I won't let him get hurt. I'll protect him.

[queenofminiskirts]

[Can that even be counted as bad talking...?]

Good. [And then she finally gestures in the direction of where Guren lives.] But let's actually get you back to his house first.

( who even knows. but he does turn to walk in that direction, thank you. )

Hopefully I remember the way this time.

[queenofminiskirts]

I can walk you back. It's not like there anything I need to do here.

[If she has anything here it's free time.]

Haha, I mean next time I go wandering around! But it probably won't be too hard.

( this place isn't big. )

I just need to pay better attention.
