t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Guren is great and amazing, even if he is a bit of an asshole sometimes!

Being an asshole doesn't make him any less of a great person! He's kind and caring and would do anything for his family.

[Okuni blinks back at Yuu.]

My, well. You aren't wrong. He is rude and careless and strangely obsessed with family, but not enough to stop himself from doing stupid things that would worry said family.

[she’s going to tell Guren WORD FOR WORD what Yuu said]

[SAME THING, that not really does wonders for Guren’s reputation. He has a great one, Okuni just likes poking fun.]

Who are you anyway? Are you his child or something?

No, I'm his family. Not his child.

( look. he's. sixteen, guren's like twenty four. that's impossible. but guren did basically raise him, but that's not the point. )

I'm Hyakuya Yuuichirou.

[Okuni forgot that Guren is young since he seems so stressed and responsible all the time... like an 80 year old.]

I'm Kumou Okuni. I know Guren, but I wouldn't call myself his family. [she says, despite having been called that by Guren before and having also worried about Guren!! she just has to pretend for appearance's sake...] I've been through his things at his house before, so I can take you back directly if you're still having trouble finding your way.

( he gets it. the whole not being family being family thing. it took yuu years to get comfortable with the word family again anyway, and now all he does is call people his family. . life's weird like that. )

Why were you going through his stuff?

[Okuni somewhere going "thank god that's not me" without knowing that she too will turn out exactly like yuu]

The first time was because I was curious, and the second time was because I was bored! Even annoying people own things interesting enough to look at.

[She sounds peppy and proud and not at all like someone who regrets her Crimes.]

Did you know that Ichi-chan owns some really scandalous things? I was so shocked to see them!

( wow what a weirdo. does he completely get here she's coming from? yes. is he probably going to go looking through guren's stuff because he's bored later? it's a possibility. )

Like what? I know he does a lot of weird stuff but. .

Well, there are some clothes he owns that a normal person would find terribly embarrassing to wear...

[But now she's interested too, as she leans forward a little in her quest to get deets]

Does that sound familiar to you? If you know he does weird stuff, then you must have seen that...!

I mean, he wears a uniform. . .

( with a glance down to his own, which looks. close to the same, minus a few color differences in the stripes. )

Guren does Guren stuff? Sometimes it's a little weird.

Weird in what way? Tell me! I want to know.

[HER MAGPIE EYES ARE SHINING as she scoots even CLOSER TO YUU]

Liike sometimes he disappears for weeks and weeks and no one knows where he is?

( "no one" more like yuu himself. )

He makes weird plans and doesn't tell anyone but starts doing them anyway and no one knows what he's doing. Stuff like that.

[osuni]

[Hm, this is decidedly less scandalous than what Okuni was looking for, but this also so on brand for Guren that she doesn't look surprised.]

Does that really count as weird when that's just how he usually is?

[For someone as close as Yuu to portray Guren so accurately... She can't believe that he apparently does this to everyone.]

It'd be weird for anyone who wasn't Guren.

( which is what weird is, right? being weird in ways other people generally aren't. look he doesn't make the rules here, he just. actually he doesn't even follow them. or enforce them. yuu does nothing. )

And it's really annoying.

You could always try following him the next time he disappears. Surely, even someone like you can be stealthy when you need to be.

[She's not sure what kind of world Guren or Yuu are from, but she's sure that Chroma is a lot smaller in terms of size. Easier to follow people! Easier to stalk them!!]
