Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here! | |
t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well.

Connor! That is not a name I have heard of before. [He kneels slightly to take a better look at him.] Parts of your clothing is glowing blue! Your ears are clipped! How amazing...what is the jewelry on the side of your head?
[Sorry Connor he's just...not seen many humans before, let alone an android based on humans.]

It must be hard to fit something so big down this well, though.]
It's my LED indicator. It identifies me as an android. [He looks up at the big... man(?), equally curious.] If you don't mind a personal question... what are you?

I have no idea what either of those are...but it suits you very well! [He grins showing his full rows of very sharp, shark-like teeth.]
What am I? You've never seen a Zora before, I'd imagine. I am Prince Sidon. It is good to meet you, Connor!

But it's a compliment, he thinks, so he nods.] Thank you.
[A prince, though... he doesn't have anything in his memory banks about how to properly greet a Zora prince, nor can he currently download anything, so he'll just have to do the best he can.
A bow.] It's nice to meet you, Your Highness. I hope I can be of assistance.

Perhaps if we work together, we can reach the top and figure out why we are here in the first place! [He looks upwards again, stroking his chin with a clawed finger.] Tell me Connor, do androids fly?

If I threw you upwards, would you be able to grab the edge of the well?

I think that will work, but will you be able to get out, too?
[He's mostly concerned about Sidon fitting enough to get out of the well at all.]

[It's true that he would get left behind, but Sidon had always wanted to help others before himself. It's what a Hero would do.]
Perhaps you'll be able to find a way to aid me when you do. Maybe there are some ropes you could throw down? But now I worry that danger might await you up there as well...

[His companion is nothing but positivity despite the situation. Sidon then bends down with both his hands intertwined together so that the android can step in them.]

[Connor says this without a hint of irony. It's true, after all.
He steps into Sidon's hands, steadying himself on his arms before straightening up completely. He's ready!]
500 years later
[Zoras don't calculate things with percentages. Waiting for Connor to finish climbing he will give him a nod.]
On the count of three....one...two...three!
[The force is far more powerful than that of a human and he uses it all to fling Connor in the air. Hopefully he didn't overthrow him either.]

Connor rockets up, twists around a bit helplessly for a moment, then grabs onto the edge of the well just as he starts to come back down past it. For a normal human this would probably do a number on their shoulders, but Connor seems unfazed by the jarring landing.]
Alright. I'm going to pull up.
[And so he scrambles up and over, landing with a somewhat ungraceful thump on the other side. CyberLife's premier prototype, everyone.
He leans back over the edge of the well once he's up again, calling down.]
I'll see if I can find some rope!
