t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. No, but I came here in the first round of people poppin' up in the well? None of us are the "founder", but I guess you could count the first wave of us as settlers?

Did you build this all yourself?

Nah, though we did some add ons and we cleaned it up a bunch. It was a completely monochrome abandoned town when we got here, though.

[ they added the color and also the maintained gardens and houses and such. ]

[ sierra frowns. in all her years, she’s never seen something like that. it sounds like something that one of the true runes could do, but the fact that they’ve restored color at all means that it’s probably something else. ]

You look like you’ve all made quite the home for yourselves. Now, how do I leave?

Yeah, none of us have figured that out yet, or like. Most of us would not still be here?

Uh...off and on? The going theory is maybe if we get all the color back we'll get let off the hook.

Well, no one would mind you tryin' to find something a little more substantial than a theory?
