i. well, well... well?
[ This is certainly a new take on his bleakest nightmare. Instead of aimlessly running through a dark endless expanse, Ari finds himself standing uncomfortably in what—oh no, he hopes—is knee-deep water. It takes him longer than he should to realize that he's not asleep, not dreaming, and definitely not alone.

Or at least, he isn't initially. He's not the only new arrival who has found themselves at the bottom of the well this day, and as the others find various means of escape, it belatedly dawns on Ari that there's a very real threat of him getting left behind—ignored, even if unintentionally so.

He just doesn't have much presence, unfortunately. ]

> "H-hey! A little help here?"

[ The red-haired boy's voice breaks nervously as he tries to make himself known, before everyone else moves on without him. ]

ii. an unexpected trip
[ Ari somehow made it out of that whole well situation, and now that he's out his first thought is to try and dry his sopping wet feet. His black boots drag with every step, waterlogged as they are, and the squish of his toes against the wet fabric of his socks only makes the experience even more uncomfortable.

No one can blame him for drawing away from the others to attend to his unfortunate situation, sitting down so he can remove both of his shoes. He gives each boot a shake in an optimistic effort to jostle loose some of the moisture that's seeped into his footwear before moving on. His socks soon follow, freeing his poor damp feet from their dreadful prison.

He's so focused on wringing as much moisture from each sock as possible that he doesn't notice your character approaching. ]

> "—!"

[ Unfortunately, your character doesn't notice him either, and they end up tripping over poor unlucky Ari. His presence really is just that forgettable, especially for someone in a hurry. ]

iii. wildcard
[ I'm open to anything! Surprise me, or hit me up at [plurk.com profile] evilkingmarz I'm always down to kick around some ideas. ]
