t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Of course I am, I've never been around this many people I can actually sense-- I was kind of worried everyone would be totally normal, you know?

[-is that weird? He pauses, frowning slightly, teeth catching on his lower lip as he worries idly at it for a moment.]

I mean, not to be, you know. Too extra about it or anything. Just- normal people don't usually believe the whole medium thing? Not that people who aren't normal always do, but... better chances and all.

It's not really common where I'm from either, so-- I don't meet a whole lot of people familiar with spirits in general. Kind of a nice change, honestly? Even with--

What were the spirits you could talk to like, though? I don't think I really knew many living ones.

I'm pretty good at cooking and keeping things clean? Knitting too, I can repair clothes if I need to, alsoIseedeadpeople-- oh, I guess I sort of know how to use a knife, technically?

But- I think I've heard of that term before? We didn't really have the concept where I'm from, but I remember reading about it... it's definitely been a while, though.

Your life must be pretty interesting if you've got weird luck. [ LITTLE DO THEY KNOW. ] I went back there recently, a bunch of things had changed since I lived there but I suppose that's expected when you're away for years. [ What this doesn't count as a vacation? ]
