t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? [ The lack of reaction from Sasuke is either because he's not thrown off by what Nico just said - that maybe he's used to pretty powerful beings or just trained to not react. Hard to say considering he knows the man is a ninja.

He also doesn't ask about other aspects of Nico's abilities. ]

Something tells me this isn't the work of one of my gods, they don't tend to involve mortals in their problems. Not to this extent anyway.

I was at camp, waiting to hear about the team that got sent out to deal with the problem we were having and cleaning up after the last disaster that dropped into our laps. Normal stuff.

[ Why did Momo think he could chaperone Sasuke when Sasuke Uchiha has actually seen war, whereas the biggest of Momo's childhood problems is that he hurt his leg playing soccer? A real mystery.

But the fact of the matter is that this stupid fucking nerdlord follows Sasuke all the way to Flavo anyway, even after the conversation's dried up into a husk of a corpse that they trample over. As if anyone asked or even needs help from a 20-something who is, in fact, a lot less remarkable than his stage persona.

When they finally hit Flavo, just on the outskirts of all of those ominous trees and thorns, Momo heaves a breath. ]

—This is like something out of Snow White, isn't it? Or maybe Goldilocks and the Three Bears... [ He laughs. Lowers his shoulders. ] Be careful, Sasuke-san. Don't drink soup that's been set out on tables or accept apples from strangers from here on out, okay?

[It made her grin. Izuku and them...that was one thing. She's never had as much problem with people her age or younger when it came to her powers. But adults were not often so accepting or enthusiastic about her powers.

She holds out a hand towards him.]

And then he's being picked up by an invisible force, leaving him hovering a few feet above the ground.]

[ Ari hesitates, but ultimately he shakes his head. ]

[ Given that he just came from the well, he hasn't noticed the letter tucked inside his vest yet—nor has he had the chance to explore the town. ]

[He stops, turns and then gestures to Ari.]

You don't have a letter?

[ Ari can't explain it, but this doesn't feel right to him either. It reminds him of Triste: cluttered and maybe a little sad. Ari thinks he wouldn't want to live here, since it would remind him too much of those forgotten streets. ]

[ He walked right past the 'Ruga' placard without noticing, whoops. ]

[ He's surprised that she offers to help, and it gets him to laugh a little ]

Ah, and here I thought it was an apology... [ Though it's said playfully and lightly, at least. To actually answer, he nods. ] Perhaps. I will need no small amount of material to make the thatch itself, and any assistance in collecting it would certainly expedite the process. It needs to be straw, reeds, or the like—a long, thin, sturdy plant, essentially.

[There's a lot going on. He gets that, and he doesn't mind the sentence ending awkwardly. Instead, he hums to himself as he thinks.]

Not a hospital, but people were talking about getting a clinic set up a while ago. Would something like that help?

[ The thread gets Sebastian to smile a little, since it's at least something, and though it's technically not at all necessary for him, well. He's still rather fond of cleverness. ]

The village was hidden in a forest at the base of a mountain. Konohagakure no Sato, the Village Hidden by Tree Leaves. It's not so hidden now because it's a large city.

It's landlocked being in the middle of the Land of Fire, but there's markets with fish from the rivers or imported ones. I'm not sure about houses of mice, but I don't think a family would turn away a hunting cat just in case.

The weather is warm usually, at least.

[ Contrary to what he may think, Lottie would love to indulge in his curiosity. Mostly because his fawning kind of makes her feel important, and gets her to focus on something else other than the way her feet ache from trotting around in her heels all day. ]
