What: QUEST RELATED CATCH ALL. There's an open bee prompt since Guren is a red, so anyone is welcome even if you didn't plot with me! Newbies too, once they get in!

[Guren feels as though he's been going a little easy on the quests lately. It's time to fix that. He's antsy, he's got an empty jar in one hand and his other on his sword, and he holds it up to anyone who might pass him by.]

Have you bothered getting any honey yet? You can come with me.

[And with that simple line, they're off! Unless your character has any resistance, of course, but assuming they don't, Guren leads them right into the forest.]

I wouldn't be surprised if these things were huge and mutated, so let's be prepared for that.

He'll be fine, physically. I'm already planning to yell at him later, but sadly, I can't heal and yell at the same time.

So what kind of spell are we talking about here?

[For a moment, Damian's face softens just a bit. He looks like he might say something, but then changes his mind, and he's instead quiet as he pushes himself further up to sit.]

A manipulative one. [Being irritated at Guren doesn't mean he has to tattle completely. Well, not totally.] It made him cut off his arm.

[Don't say he never did anything for your, Guren.]

Well, he owes me. Maybe I'll call in that favor. For now-- how are you feeling? Any lingering dizziness? Tingling in the extremities? Soreness?

[Once he's sitting up with his legs hanging off the couch, Damian raises an arm to carefully touch around his chest. His brows furrow. IS THIS MAGIC. Witchcraft for sure.]

No. No. N... A little sore maybe. [He glances up.] What did you do?

Persona.

[ promptly-- and then she grimaces, because right. ]

Well, I guess the easiest explanation is healing magic. A lot of your injuries were internal, so I poured in a little more than usual, just to make sure everything was covered.

"Persona"?

[Can Maya believe he's had an intense, thorough conversation with Minato, but hadn't once come to learn about personas? Smh. Minato had one job, and it was to tell Damian about these very important things.

Instead, they discussed cats and friendship.] What cost do you suffer for doing something like this? [Again, Damian touches his chest. He wasn't sure if he had internal bleeding, but at least one of the ribs had definitely been fractured?

It's barely sore now. Ugh--magic.]

Nothing much. It's a little draining if I use too many powerful spells, but nothing life-threatening or actually painful.
