What: QUEST RELATED CATCH ALL. There's an open bee prompt since Guren is a red, so anyone is welcome even if you didn't plot with me! Newbies too, once they get in!
Warnings: None. Will add if necessary!

A. Bees to see - OPEN

[Guren feels as though he's been going a little easy on the quests lately. It's time to fix that. He's antsy, he's got an empty jar in one hand and his other on his sword, and he holds it up to anyone who might pass him by.]

Have you bothered getting any honey yet? You can come with me.

[And with that simple line, they're off! Unless your character has any resistance, of course, but assuming they don't, Guren leads them right into the forest.]

I wouldn't be surprised if these things were huge and mutated, so let's be prepared for that.

[If you want to hit Guren up for a different quest, even if he's a red, feel free! Try to ruin his day? Just see what he's up to? This is my generic space to say anyone can tag me even if I didn't plot things with them, so feel free, or hit me up at zeloser to work something out, if you want!]

I'm not entirely fireproof. I just don't burn that easily.

[There's, you know, that huge scar on his left side to worry about. But he highly doubts the bees will be throwing boiling water about.]

[swordfucker]

Try not to get burned at all.

[He slows his steps just slightly, pointing ahead.]

There, on that tree. Can you see it from where you are?

[glaciers]

[He squints up at the beehive, but he'll take several steps closer to Guren. Now that he's there, he can see it a bit more clearly.]

It's kind of high up.

[swordfucker]

I can get to it.

[So there's no worry about that. He's already grabbing at his sword with his free hand.]

But I need you to grab whatever comes out as soon as possible. Don't let the thing fall down. I'm not trying to wreck the hive— just collect honey.

[glaciers]

[Shouto starts cautiously moving towards it.]

I thought you were getting the honey out of the hive? Does it drop down?

[swordfucker]

...I was talking about the bees. You get the bees when they come out. They're not going to like me collecting the honey, but I don't want to get stung.

[After all, these hardly look like friendly bees. Size mutations, multiple mutations, god knows what else they can do. He doesn't want to test their stingers.]

Let me know when you're ready.

[glaciers]

You could've just said that.

[He wreathes his left hand in flames, ready to throw it at whatever happens to come out. With the size of that beehive, he wonders how large the bees could really be.]

I'm ready. Climb up.

[swordfucker]

[HE DID!! But he lets that drop and deadeyes the beehive, instead. There certainly are bees all around it... Rather than climb, though, he takes a couple of rushed steps forward and jumps.

It's onto a lower branch first, and then another one up, before his hand grasps at an even taller one to balance himself carefully at the right level.

He's not even a foot away from the hive, now, and if Shouto doesn't distract quick, he's going to become a target.]

[glaciers]

[All these ninja people Shouto spends his time around... It's fine, that's probably the exact same way Izuku would use to get up to a high point.

Shouto aims a fireball carefully at the bees, making certain not to hit Guren.]

[swordfucker]

Don't hit the hive, remember! I want it to stay up here.

[Of course, he's calling that out over a large swarm of bees coming from the hive now and going straight for Shouto. There's all sorts of mutations, so watch out for that. Guren will certainly be eyeing him as he inches closer with his jar, cautious but rushed.]

[glaciers]

I know!

[With this many bees it's hard to tell what their mutations even are.

At least he has the bees' attention now. It's easy enough to set a wall fire for the ones that get too close to him.]

[swordfucker]

[It's going great, at first. Guren is collecting honey, and the few bees that linger near the hive giving him trouble are taken care of. He doesn't mind killing some here and there.

But when Shouto resorts to a wall of fire, they begin to hover backwards more and more, until Guren is more in danger again. They're starting to notice what he's doing.]

Shouto!

[glaciers]

[Shit fuck dammnit. He immediately switches from his fire to throwing a wall of ice between Guren and the bees.]

Sorry! You'll have to go around it!

[swordfucker]

How the hell am I supposed to go around it?!

[A pain, that's how!! Bees can fly around whatever they want, and Guren is crouching precariously near the hive, now, scooping as much as he can into it. They're slamming against the ice until finally, fire erupts from one of them.

It seems Shouto isn't alone! Guren is scooping faster.]

Just target the worst ones individually!

[glaciers]

With your legs?! You jumped into a tree!

[What kind of question is that!

They're too fast for Shouto to encase them all in ice individually. He's forced into burning them to a crisp one by one.

Or at least he's trying. As fast as he is with his fire, they're small targets and hard to hit.]

[swordfucker]

[It's good enough. Guren sticks with getting the honey, ignoring as a few of them sting viciously at him. His lips twitch into a scowl, but he's used to pain, and whatever other strange effects these stings might be having. He ignores it, and presses on.

Until... he has a full jar of the gray honey. With that, he slaps the lid on and jumps back down, landing on his feet a little heavily. He was stung a handful of times.]

Now run! We're heading back!

[glaciers]

[Shouto did what he could, so he's not going to feel too bad about this. Though distantly he wonders if he should've been climbing up the tree. He's better at keeping the bees away from himself than other people.

It's only distant because as soon as Guren says run, Shouto books it.]

[swordfucker]

[With his jar of colorless honey in one hand, he draws his sword with the other, spinning around to slice at the offending bees that come at him. Maybe it's funny, to use a sword on these things, but the energy that erupts from his blade takes care of any of them that stray close enough, even if the blade itself doesn't hit.

It works, and he jumps back a considerable distance, cutting again at the ground to create a cloud of dust before he turns to run.

It's... strange, though. Something in the stings is actually getting to him. Mahiru can't block it? His poison resistance? No, it's not poison—]

Shouto.

[Now that they're far enough away that the bees aren't following them, he takes a heavy step forward and holds out the honey jar, looking distant. Take it.]

[glaciers]

[They're far from the bees, but they're still in the forest. While he'd rather not get stuck out here for too long, something is happening to Guren, isn't it?

He takes the jar and studies him carefully. Did he get stung?]

What happened?

[swordfucker]

[As soon as the honey is passed off, and Guren knows it's safe and won't break, he... collapses, right there. Paralysis, it seems! He was fighting through it this whole time, and now his body doesn't want to work.

It's clear he's not passed out, because his fingers are twitching against the dirt as he struggles to get some sort of control back.]

[glaciers]

[Damn. Okay. So he has to drag 1. the honey back 2. Guren all the way back. Shouto might be strong, but he's not anywhere as strong as Izuku using his quirk. Dragging a full grown man around... well he's going to be dragged.]

Sorry about this.

[Because Shouto's taking one of his arms and starting to drag him towards the town.]

[swordfucker]

[Hm. Well, he can't move his mouth to protest even if he wanted to. He doesn't. He knows it's better than leaving him here alone, and he can take the scrapes... Just don't lose the honey, Shouto.]

[glaciers]

[He won't lose the honey or the sensei if he has anything to say about it.]

Izuku would have an easier time carrying you.

[It's too bad he isn't here. But he mostly mumbles it to himself as he continues the trek to the town.]

[swordfucker]

[Thankfully, it's just a few stings. It wears off in maybe five minutes, and Guren is able to shift. He tugs back against where Shouto is pulling him by.]

S-stop. [Finally, he can speak again, god. He just needs a minute to sit up, slow and struggling and deal with all the scrapes he's just gotten.]

[glaciers]

[And now that Guren is talking again, a good sign, Shouto stops dragging him along the forest floor.]
