Pussy's in the well. Who put her in? Little Johnny Thin. Who pulled her out? Little Tommy Stout. What a naughty boy was that, To try to drown poor pussy cat, Who never did him any harm, But killed all the mice in the farmer's barn.
Welcome to Awash's first intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. Characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out.

ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light.

But in response to that question, Akechi briefly scans the room until he locates a couple of laptops on the floor, just next to what looks like may have been a coffee table, a long time ago. ] Right over there. [ He makes a motion of his head towards them. ] They seem to each only give access to one specific person, though. You might want to check and see if you can find yours.
[ And there's something else here: ] You seem to have made an important discovery of your own, though. Where did you find those cans, if you don't mind my asking?

The source of food, at least, is an easy question to answer. ]
There's a store down the street that's got all kinds of stuff.
[ He points in a direction further into the district, heading away from the well. ]
The window's busted open so it's easy to get in, but a bunch of stuff is missing it's labels.

[ Huh. Looks like they both missed some important pieces of the puzzle - Yata hadn't seen the laptops, and Akechi, the supplies. If this is a reflection of their priorities, then it probably says a lot about Akechi that he was first drawn to information rather than his own survival. ]
Well! If anyone else has already found it, it might be too late for a scavenging hunt, but it is important information, regardless. Thank you.
[ He sure looks oddly calm for someone who might have to fight for food... ]

[ Yata pauses for a moment, then elects to ignore the laptops and rock to his feet. ]
Some guy was like, "We can't just loot the place!" so I told him to stay behind and make sure no one took more than they needed.
[ Whether or not poor Gran accepted being voluntold for such a role remains to be seen, however. ]
Besides, there was a whole store worth of food.
