Intro Log.

Pussy's in the well. Who put her in? Little Johnny Thin. Who pulled her out? Little Tommy Stout. What a naughty boy was that, To try to drown poor pussy cat, Who never did him any harm, But killed all the mice in the farmer's barn.
Welcome to Awash's first intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. Characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out.

ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light.

[ this guy could be a vampire, for all he knows - it's not the kind of thing you just ask somebody, though. Touchy subject. ]
Until then, I think finding another method is in order. Maybe we can make ourselves a rope.
no subject
[ Now this is just a matter of pride. Sorry, Lupin. ]
Look, I can even catch you if I miss.
no subject
[ where's kyrie ]
no subject
[ Listen, Caramia would love to throw Kyrie up there, too. ]
Besides, you wouldn't be a guinea pig! You'd be saving people if... when you get up there to drop us a rope!
[ Caramia's already kneeling down and cupping his hands together for Lupin's foot. What could possibly go wrong??? ]
no subject
[ Lupin would dodge the strikes, of course! But he won't do any additional ego-stroking for the moment. Not when Caramia is standing there, looking ready to launch him into the sky with his bare hands. He just stares at the man for a moment, somewhat disbelievingly, and shakes his head. ]
I'm not doing it.
This tag is best thing I've ever written bye
[ Resorting to children's insults, Caramia? Well, can't say you can be blamed. We all want to see Lupin chucked out of the well. ]
This is way better than a grappling hook.
no subject
[ you seem like a nice enough guy BUT ]
no subject
[ Sometimes you just have to trust a random guy to catapult you, Lupin. It'll (probably) be fine. ]
Besides, this certainly does sound like a lot of excuses for someone who "isn't a chicken".
no subject
[ stop calling him a chicken, you'll hurt his ego!! ]
no subject
Well, it's definitely the fastest way. [ He states this like it's matter-of-fact. ] But not with you stalling like this, it's not. And, you can't just bruise a lion's pride like that and not expect some sort proof. So, what'll it be, pollo?
no subject
[ maybe this guy actually is a weirdo. Lupin gives him a dubious look. ]
look at this loser. doesn't know what a lion is.
...That's me.
[ Best not further explain, he seems suspicious, and just saying "oh yeah I'm totally a lion, like, the animal" probably wasn't about to fly just yet. Much to his dismay-- were his eyes and fangs fake-looking? How tragic. Maybe he could pass "Lion" off as a last name for now.
Caramia is two seconds away just just picking Lupin up entirely and just doing it that way. However, this method was more reasonable and had the better chance of sending Lupin upright and not at any angle. (Though, argueably, if he aimed to the other side of the well, being at an angle wasn't entirely a bad thing. Hm. Just catapulting Lupin without his say so was sounding better.) ]
Don't forget to bend your knees.
it's NOT this ikemen in a pimp coat
Well, Lion, I'll leave the knee-bending to you. Let's see here...
[ it looks like he's giving up and is going to just attempt to scale the wall, if the way he's nearing the bricks and taking his gloves off is any indication... and ignoring Caramia's posing. ]
did you sjsut clal it a PIMP COAT IM HOLLERIN
Still, now Caramia seemed more like predator he was meant to be, staring at the man trying to get onto the wall. Just fucking GO for it, Caramia.
And with that thought in mind, he gives a sudden pounce onto him as he's removing gloves, trying his best to hoist this chicken into his arms. ]
am i wrong? no
one doesn't become a great thief just by donning a mask and fancy cape. With Caramia being so pushy about this - not to mention still staying there squatting in the water - Lupin was fairly certain he was going to try and grab him whether he agreed or not. The moment he hears the splash of the other man's pounce, he sidesteps with a practiced movement, his cane somehow in his hand and crossed protectively in front of himself. ]
Woah there. Let's behave ourselves. Do I need to find a lion tamer?
we're gonna fight.
Caramia loses his balance very briefly, but manages to catch a stone on the wall to keep himself from falling. (This would be a nice stone to boost himself up with, in hindsight...) He starts pouting at Lupin, already annoyed that this stranger wasn't doing the admittedly logical thing and not letting some random guy toss him out a steep well. Honestly, though, does he not look like a trustworthy guy?! What a pain... ]
Lion tamer? More like abusers-- do you know how those guys even work?
[ Caramia gives a small sneeze, fortunately straightening himself upright enough to look away from Lupin. ]
Honestly, pollo, it's almost like you want to be stuck in this cold well. It's cold and damp and awful. [ If you thought he was letting go of his pride for sake of being confused how he got here and needing to get out of here as soon as possible, then you were dead wrong.
How was he supposed to
show offprove himself--... ] Unless, you'd rather I carry you up there myself.
