Intro Log.

Pussy's in the well. Who put her in? Little Johnny Thin. Who pulled her out? Little Tommy Stout. What a naughty boy was that, To try to drown poor pussy cat, Who never did him any harm, But killed all the mice in the farmer's barn.
Welcome to Awash's first intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. Characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out.

ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light.

I think...I think that there must be something affecting this place. Or at least someone behind this. None of us would be here if that weren't the case. And-- it or they must be powerful, too, to have brought so many of us.

There's only one thing she knew that could possibly even do something like this, but.... it was rubble at the bottom of a lake, now.
And she couldn't imagine anyone wishing for this sort of bleak reality.]
I'd like to think it was a bad dream, but I'm pretty sure we'd all have woken up by now, if that was the case. So you're probably right.
[She's quiet for a moment, contemplative. Well, if that was the case....]
But if it's not a dream, that means we can do something about it! There's got to be something around here that'll tell us what happened, don't you think?
no subject
Ahh-- yes. You're right. We won't find anything if we don't look. [A pause, and then she holds out her hand.] My name is Naminé. If it's alright with you, can I search with you?
no subject
I'm Estelle. It's good to meet you, Naminé... and of course you can! I'm sure if we both work together, we'll find something to tell us what's going on here eventually.
[At least, it seemed that way to Estelle, after all, two heads were better than one. And many heads were better than two!]
There were people here once. They have to have left something behind that can tell us what happened. People don't just leave without a trace, you know?
no subject
Something left behind...so papers? Or books? Maybe newspapers...
no subject
Yeah, exactly! If something happened here, the papers would be reporting about it, right? Or someone might have left announcement fliers and notices. If we find some of those, we might get information about what happened here, and maybe figure out what we can do next.
