ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light. It looks like a long trip upwards, a small cylinder with walls of brick that's just a little too high to reach, even when jumping. Getting out is probably going to be a bit of a task, especially considering the water is more than cold enough to make limbs go numb. The dark makes it impossible to see much further, but the space seems large, all filled with water, but with no other way out, stone walls the only thing for an intrepid explorer to find. But most importantly of all... you're not alone. Welcome to Awash's first intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. Characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out. Once out, they'll be free to explore the various locations the Town has to offer at will. Just try not to die on any of the far-too-rickety walkways. [That means people from at least two different places can't recognize anything about the town they've been stranded in.]

I've met a few people I knew from home. But most of them are strangers.

I only recognize three other people.

But yeah, no, I have no idea where we are. The geography isn't anything I ever learned back in the days of yore when I had to fill in maps blind because that's how we teach geography in America, I guess.

I've seen four of my classmates so far.

I've seen a forest and what I'm guessing is an ocean. That's what's surrounding the town. It doesn't look like anything in Japan either.

We're probably on another planet. [ HE SOUNDS...resigned but not that bothered by the concept? ]

Sounds like you've done this type of thing before.

I've been to like, two or three different universes dependin' on your point of view. You kind of get used to it, I guess? Or you just get tired of reacting to it all that much...

I think I'd probably in the later option. Seems hard to get used to changes like that.

Eh, you'd be surprised. I guess you have to have pretty weird shit happen for that to be the case, though. I'm Dave.

We've gotten attacked by villains twice this year, but it was pretty normal otherwise.

And what is it they want to do? [ he ASSUMES not "change the system for the better", given what little tone he's gleaning here. ]

Have everybody completely discard the law and do whatever they want. Like murder and steal without consequences.

They were mostly attacking our school.

... Most people don't wear capes, but there's a couple of outfits that do. LeMillion and Inasa wear them.

Is it hard to keep the timeline straight?

I mean...no, not as such, but there's a lot of bullshit involved in it. Like. Things you do just because you know you did them, and maybe kind of accidentally bein' a dick to people because of it?
