[ interesting that it hasn't even been a week here and he's already come across a potential stand user. maybe that's just how it is, even across realities. he should be glad it isn't anyone from naples, but all the same, giorno is hit with a wave of homesickness.

no matter. he's never seen a chimera before and the fact that there is one in the wild gives him ideas, possibilities. suppose he create one ... wouldn't that be interesting. he thinks of these things as he makes his way to the well. 'kewl' haircut, the youth said. (nevermind the fact that he's 15.) well there's nobody else here but him. sad. ]

[ okay buddy. as for that question, giorno gives it some thought. ] Somewhere it could fit, first of all. I've never actually seen one in person, but the ones I've heard in stories are always huge .... so we should probably head for the forest, or the waters out there. Likely the forest.

[ easier to fight in a forest, too. being near the water is just a pain in the ass. ]

I was thinking that too. All the weird stuff seems to gather there. We gotta be careful though; they're other creatures lurking around those parts. Not to mention, it's creepy as heck.

[ But Josuke has never liked spooky things. Giorno probably won't have much of a problem. ]

I'll lead you there. You're probably new around here, aren't you? [ Since there are like 80 people in town and Josuke has seen most of them, but he hasn't seen Giorno. ]

.... We'll be careful. And you have me. We'll be able to heal each other, if nothing else.

[ he says this so casually, despite not having gone to the forest at all yet to ascertain how dangerous it is. the truth is that giorno has faith in his abilities, and josuke seems like a good guy, so he thinks that the two of them are going to be fine. ]

I'm in your care. [ a pause. ]</small. Are we supposed to hold hands now, or when we make the encounter .... ?

That's true. [ What a nice thought! He's never had comfort of knowing that there's someone around who can heal him. He can't heal himself, after all, so he's had to take several trips to the hospital in the past. ]

Now, maybe? If only so it won't be a situation where the quest doesn't count because we weren't holding hands from the start. That would be a pain. [ Josuke holds out his hand, waiting for Gio to take it. ]

[ this is such an odd way to fight and his mind is going overdrive with the way things can get easily compromised being limited with movement like this, but - he takes josuke's hand anyway. what a firm grip. ]
