dextera stops, momentarily but genuinely surprised that his brother would want one. it’s hypocritical, he knows, when he himself took one—but he wishes they could just be brother to each other, as before. ]

[ he nods. ]

I’ll give you a wonderful name.

[ He doesn't plan to call Dextera 'Dextera' ever but Minato had suggested having someone he cares about name him and... well, the only one who qualifies for that is Dextera himself. He wants an identity all his own. It's too embarrassing to name himself. ]

[ dextera leans in, briefly pressing their foreheads together, and then he pulls back entirely. it’s not for long that they’re separated, however—he takes his brother’s hand, and again, guides him to sit. ]

Let’s eat. Then I’ll take you back to your house.

[bisection]

[ He lets him tap their foreheads together before accepting his hand. It feels too easy. It's a shame his brother grew up to be like this... he worries for him. Even if he's probably the biggest cause of harm for him here now, he worries for him.

He follows him to the ground, making a small sound of agreement. He'll eat for him, if only because worrying him more would be counterproductive. ]
