More like daemons than actual wolves. [The other three close in and Nyx shakes his head. One leaps in at them only to smash into a barrier he summons while slicing into another’s nose.]
Nyx pushes forward, done playing defensive. The beasts are vicious but at the end of the day they're child's play compared to what he's used to. Baring his teeth back at the closest wolves, he taps back into his magic and phase steps out of the way of one's bite; his kukri finds a home on the underside of its jaw.
Twisting his body, he extends his other hand to the next one. Lightning arcs out from his palm in a bolt that blasts clear across the road. The remaining wolves begin to look concerned.]
[Though not as lethal as Nyx, Sorey does his best to keep the remaining wolves away from them both. A few frenzied movements later and the growling around them has substantially died down.
Sorey's panting, his sword still out in front of him in case one attacks from the dark still. But no more wolves are lunging at him.]
Is...Is that all of them?

[Nyx waits a moment to respond, listening intently. The wolves that had still been alive beat a fast retreat back into the woods, and after a moment Nyx is confident that they're gone for now. Not a one of them was unscathed.]
Think so.
[He lowers his blades at last and moves to step on some burning grass. Starting a forest fire might keep these things out, but he doubts it would turn out well for Chroma either.]

When one of the wolves is burned and separates from the others he watches it carefully, keeping his sword up. As expected, the wolf comes right back.]
Watch out!
[He leaps to be back to back with Nyx, blocking the wolf's attempted assault with his sword and struggling for a moment before pushing it back.]
Man, these things are strong...

Are you hurt?

No, I'm okay. Just a bit sore.
[He hadn't fought for that much sustained time in a while, and the wolves were stronger than they looked.
He turns to face Nyx now.]
You?
