[ Gorm came into the forest so Crowley can teach them how to nya. ]
Understandable. [ That is what the vampire had been doing even after he had been bitten; killing wolves, ridding them from the town, possibly making more enemies within the pack that had attacked them than friends. And while there's an itch in the back of his head that tells him to stalk and prey in a similar fashion the coherent side of him -- the side that wins, ultimately -- keeps Crowley within the forest. ]
They were aiming to attack a human, so it was either them or me... so I just thought it'd be for the best. [ But there's no emotion behind his voice, as if being the sacrificial lamb so a human doesn't have to go through the frustrating process of become a werewolf isn't even worth noting. If anything he's more or less confused as to why he didn't just let the monster sink its fangs into their neck. ] You'd do the same thing, wouldn't you? The most you'd lose is an arm but that's not terrible!
Those things' teeth will break before they can get one of my arms off.
[ This is a scientifically proven theory as of the last few nights. There's a second where they rub their temple, looking as mildly visibly annoyed as they usually do, but now with 25% more anxiousness as opposed to the flat nonchalance of their previous encounter. He's a strange one, that's for sure, but he's also one of the few immortals which they can relate to, so they put up with it. ]
That immunity is really the main reason why I'd do the same thing. [ It's the logical thing to do... they could do it without even putting themself at risk, so why not. It's not like they care or anything(!!!!!), it's just common sense. ] Not to sacrifice myself in someone's stead like you have.
[ For some reason they'd thought his immortality might make him immune? Things that couldn't die shouldn't be able to get infected by things, after all. ]
Well aren't you lucky to built like a rock. [ Because they are. And Crowley isn't saying this out of envy as much as he is just stating a fact, making a jab, and quickly dissolving the conversation into something else as he knows his comeback is lame as hell.
He clicks his tongue. ]
Listen, don't make it sound like I've suddenly soften up. [ With a heavy hand he reaches out to Gorm, placing a hand atop of their head; solid, he's nearly tempted to rattle them around and see if there's anything that'll tinker around inside.
In fact he does. But it's done with the intentions of just being a general bother. ]
I want this to hurry up and end as soon as possible. It's a problem within itself just having to live off of blood, but these monsters have an even larger appetite and when I can't get enough it gets irritating -- people who've been bit and can't control themselves might just start attacking friends for food.
[ Uh?!?! They definitely make a face at that, shoving his hand away way harder than is necessary. It's the fear and would-be adrenaline if they were a regular human, and as soon as they remove his hand they run a hand through their crystalline hair to fix it back into it's proper place. ]
Don't touch me. [ First things first. ] And besides, I already know that. I've witnessed it first hand.
[ And it was annoying, not to mention disgusting. They'll just...casually take the tiniest step further away from him, looking more like they're shifting their weight than anything else. ]
Do you honestly think you can control yourself if it gets to that point?
[ i'm still fucked about their hair how do they do that ]
It's a head pat, scout, it won't kill you unless I try. [ Could Crowley crush their skull in the palm of his hand... maybe, but right now is not the time to try that out. ]
Well, if you want to put logic into it I don't think so. The first time I was turned into a vampire there were a number of complications I couldn't just hurdle through without losing control, and I doubt I'll have any actual time to adjust. [ He predicts, if all that has happened in this place rings true, that it will only last for so long. ] But, hey, if that becomes the case you're sure to be safe unless you try killing me. In that case that'll be sad... for you.
