he full moon hangs brightly over the Town, hovering so low that it almost feels as though you could reach out and touch it. It should be comforting. But as the howl of wolves fills the air, it's anything but. There are werewolves on the prowl, and their target is very clear -- the Town won't be able to last without your help. What is it for? [ Tenn can guess what it looks like, with a name like 'goldenglow' -- though he accepts that he could be way off base -- but he doesn't know particularly why someone might care enough to be so intently perusing the ground. ]

If it's important, then you should have help. [ Is... is that an offer of help? It might be. ]

A cure, for those of us who have been turned into--partial werewolves. I hope so, at least.

[He's very serious. He nods gladly at the offer of help, leaning back on his ankles.]

Would you like to look on that side? Collecting any plant that seems particularly different from others will do.

[ To cure the werewolves sounds like something Tenn is at least passingly invested in. While no one he cares about has personally been bitten, the well-being of the group as a whole kind of depends on no one eating each other. Not to mention a disease that contagious would almost inevitably affect everyone, especially if it's moving through the fighters... Tenn probably couldn't hold his own against a real wolf, much less a werewolf.

He steps over, careful not to ruin much of the groundcovering. ]

Most of what grows here I'm not familiar with, but if it's unusual even here, that's simpler.

[ Not all the way simple, but Tenn can still drop down to look for it. ]

No, not me.

[Yusuke shakes his head easily enough, tossing an errant bit of fern over one shoulder before he shuffles forward to start at the next spot. Oof. Crick in the neck. Okay, maybe he'll sit up for a second first.]

I've managed to avoid injury completely, thus far.

[because he's a cheat and uses ice powers fite him werewolves]

That's good. [ Ugh, Tenn's nails are going to be even more of a disaster than they were before once he's done with this, but he can't spend too much time caring about how pretty his idol manicure works when there are literal werewolves around. ]

We've been barricading ourselves in at night, but I don't know how effective it is long term.

[ Which makes it a good thing that they're doing something about it... sort of. What is that, a clover? Aw, good luck. ]

It is a good start, but... do you know anyone capable of self-defense if you aren't a fighter yourself?

[Yusuke looks with concern at him as he works his hands and wrists to get a few of the kinks out from digging around with tense fingers.]

We could hold our own against normal humans, but everyone I know from home isn't a fighter. I haven't been here long enough to learn who is or isn't.

[ Tenn is certain, if it came down to it, that Riku could call on the people he's met for help and receive a large amount of it, given Riku's dubious status as "most likely to fall back in the well"... ]

We've been doing what we can, thus far.

[Yusuke nods thoughtfully, and then he turns to face him with a more serious expression.]

If you do need any help, please don't hesitate to ask. I can do my best to assist you and provide you shelter and defense in my home.

...If this turns out to be long term, which I hope it shall not. [He pauses and adds:] My name is Yusuke Kitagawa.

Tenn Kujo. [ Tenn would offer to shake hands, but since he's rummaging around in literal dirt, he just nods, instead, a respectful incline of the head. ]

My -- [ there's the barest hesitation here, before Tenn continues ] -- younger brother, he's here as well, and he's always been frail. In a situation like this, my priority is to make sure that no harm comes to him.

[bufudyne]

[Yusuke's expression softens a little. A younger sibling he doesn't have, but Futaba's very much like a younger sibling to their group, so she's who he thinks of in this moment.]

I see. Well, I will gladly offer assistance to you and your brother.

We must work together here.

[And he appreciates Tenn like helping him out. that's doin him a solid, bro]
