he full moon hangs brightly over the Town, hovering so low that it almost feels as though you could reach out and touch it. It should be comforting. But as the howl of wolves fills the air, it's anything but. There are werewolves on the prowl, and their target is very clear -- the Town won't be able to last without your help. I was hoping there was, but I didn't start getting any kind of indication about it until two days in. And I guess I wasn't the only one; people have been going into the woods to find herbs.

So--! Rest assured, Ochako-chan! With so many people on the case, I'm sure we can get you back to normal in no time.

[ yes, surely this will appease her. ]

[Oh, great— so it's apparently everyone's responsibility to fix this mess, and they're soooo confident about it. Hmph. Normal Ochako would be touched to hear that so many people are making the effort; wolf!Ochako just finds this all incredibly irksome. She's still trying to keep it together, but she can't help but to let out a quiet huff.]

In no time? Seriously? [She doesn't lift her eyes from the ground, but her voice is definitely taking on a harsher, more frustrated tone.] What if the cure doesn't work? You don't know what it's like to be like this!

[Ugh, and now her eyes are burning. Tears? Seriously? Don't mind her as she reaches up to quickly swipe them away.]

[ Normally, Maya would just reach out and hug her. But there's something that keeps her where she is, warning her that-- for some reason... Ochako is dangerous like this. ]

You're right, I don't know.

[ She can admit that. ]

But I can see, just by looking at you, that you're suffering from it. That the others are. So I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure we find something that can help you.

[Maya, stop being so darn reasonable! This is yet another thing normal Ochako would absolutely appreciate, but wolf!Ochako isn't here for this at all.]

Why do you even care if I'm suffering?

[It's a silly, petty thing to say, and she knows it; it's why she sniffles quietly, giving her eyes another quick rub before she speaks in a slightly quieter voice.]

I can tell that you're afraid of me.

[ No! On occasion, she remembers she's an adult!! ]

You're my friend, of course I'd care!

[ and it's true, there's this sense of paranoia she can't entirely shake off, and she hates herself for it, but it's additionally true that she cares about this tiny girl, so Maya just reaches out to touch her shoulder. ]

I don't entirely understand why this is happening, and the situation itself worries me, but more than that-- I don't want you to have to deal with this by yourself.
