[ Actually... he's probably read a book or two about werewolves before, perhaps out of curiosity of whether or not they could exist within his own world more than actually finding interest in other supernatural creatures. But as they were quickly revealed to be completely fictional creatures that's a fact he'll never be quick to admit.
Quirking a brow, he uses his free hand to take the bottle from Noctis' grasp. Holding it up to the light shining from the moon and watching the content inside. ]
Huh?
[ HE WASN'T EVEN PAYING ATTENTION. But that should answer one of his questions: no, it doesn't hurt. ]
Hey, how'd you do that? I had no idea that you could do this sort of magic, you should have told me! [ Not for himself, but maybe for someone like Guren or other humans would definitely need this more than he would. ] Do you have to drink it in order for it to work? Or do you just pour it all over the wound?
[ Wh -- he wasn't even paying attention! Noctis stares at him, flabbergasted, because dude that armmmmmm. But then again, it doesn't seem like it hurts very much if he's more interested in what Noctis just did, so...
He pauses, uncertain and wrongfooted for a few moments. Maybe vampires don't feel pain? Is that a thing? The water swirls with an almost iridescent light, catching the glimmer of the full moon. ]
Uh -- I can do different kinds of magic. More or less. [ Nyx has been putting him through his paces when it came to magic without the flasks. ] And uh, you can do either, the potion'll heal up a chunk of it.
[ Of course, shortly after the explanation, Crowley finds himself both bored and disinterested. He doesn't believe it be of any use for him, per say, and it's with a straight laced face that he decided to instead toss it back towards Noctis. ]
Nope~ It'll heal in time. [ A short pause, a sudden realization, Crowley's smile is all but friendly despite the usual pleasantries. ] In fact, I think I know of a faster way to at least make the wound close.
[ The sword in his hand rolls within his palm with ease, the blade pointing itself to the ground before he lifts it to cut right into his forearm. Severing the limb completely in one strike, straight through bone, a clean cut -- he doesn't even so much as flinch despite the immediate blood loss means he may have to drink in the near future. ] Don't freak out. [ It's stated calmly, his eyes reflecting his usual aloofness before he decides to sheath his blade and bend down to promptly pick his arm off from the ground. ] I do this all the time. Watch.
[ He at least considers whether or not he's positioned it correctly before jamming it back into place. Flesh on flesh -- there's a gut wrenching, wet sound that follows as the muscles tie together and connect. Taking little time to actually fall back into proper, working order. Almost as if he had never cut it off or had been bitten to begin with.
This is all going to come back and bite him in the ass. ]
[ Noctis stares, wide-eyed as he watches Crowley pretty much cut his arm off and then fit it back again like nothing's happened. Even the wound looks like it's healed, and Noctis thinks he'll never forget the sickening wet sound of reconnecting tissue.
Holy Six.
Noctis stares at the arm, then at him, entirely not sure of what to think. ] Is that a -- vampire thing? All of you guys can do that? What do you mean you do this all the time? You get bitten and hurt all the time?
[ Crowley continues to roll his arm, ensuring that it's back in place until he's satisfied. During this time his expression remains relaxed and without a single trace or either pain or confusion when Noctis questions him. In fact he's becoming increasingly more familiar having to explain the basics of vampirism. ]
At least the ones in my world. Losing limbs isn't an entirely new concept, I've lost my head once or twice before...

[ He hesitates. ] You're not gonna use it?

[ Maybe. No. ]
The only bad part is that I'm thirsty now.
