WHO: Naminé, Maribelle, and Tonbokiri
WHAT: Roommates cleaning and getting to know each other!
WHEN: Sometime this week, while furniture is still talking.
WHERE: Flavo District
WARNINGS: None foreseen.
[Who knew houses could accumulate this much dust? Certainly not Naminé, whose White Room back in Twilight Town never seemed to gain a single layer of the stuff no matter how long she left it alone. She's gone to the nearby rivers to haul water back for them at least half a dozen times already this morning, and inch by inch, things are becoming spotless and clean.
It's tiring work. Satisfying in its own right, to be working towards a goal, but tiring. And so around noon, Naminé stops wiping down one of the kitchen counter tops in favor of stretching. How are her new roommates getting along, she wonders...]

Maribelle? Tonbokiri? I'm going to take a break...

Nam/Mari/Ton?
So if the girl says she's stopping, she must be REALLY tired.]
Very well, just show me where you left off so we can take over.
[But she doesn't stop there, now getting in her roomie's face for an inspection.]
And how are you? You're not working yourself to the bone, are you?
no subject
However, he certainly cannot agree with the girls working themselves too hard. Especially as none of them are getting proper nutrition right now.]
Lazy oafs! Work yourself until your bones are showing! Hahaha!
[The stool that chorales at them gets a hard glare from Tonbokiri, but he knows that is not enough to silence them any longer.]
Give them no mind, Naminé-dono. Certainly, rest as long as you like.
no subject
No, I'm fine, I promise. [Working herself to the bone would eventually mean she would be too exhausted to help. She doesn't want to do that now that she has people depending on her to do her fair share.] But...I was hoping you two could take a break with me? Both of you have been working very hard too...
no subject
[She clearly hesitates on her part. That insulting furniture is annoying - but maybe if they all took a break together, they could ensure the young girl WOULD actually rest.]
... I suppose a few minutes wouldn't hurt. What say you, Tonbokiri?
no subject
Rubbing the back of his head he looks between the two girls, then nods.]
Resting well is just as important as working well. A little break, then.
Nooooo-! [The stool screeches at them with a sound like rubbing wood.] If you don't get back to cleaning this instant, you'll for suuuuuuure regret it!
[Tonbokiri has a moment of wishing to cut the stool in half, but sighs instead.] How about we go outside? It's not very restful with this heckling.
Ah, I do wish for a cup of tea in a moment like this, but... [He shrugs, not needing to finish saying what they all know. The water remains unpleasant and unnatural to drink. And it would probably taste like ash even if he did somehow manage to infuse tea leaves into it.]
no subject
Maybe when things are better we could have a tea party? [She's imagining Alice and the Mad Hatter's tea party right now, with all of its strange conventions.] Though I'm not sure what kind of tea would be good for that...
no subject
Gods, I can't remember the last time I had a decent cup of tea... I'd even drink sugary milk tea at this point!
[The horror!!! THE HORROR!!!]
... I wouldn't mind a formal tea party, if we had the supplies. Yes, this place could use some refined elegant. Perhaps some soothing chamomile after all we've been through, or some enchanting rosehip...

He nods along to her recommendations, speaking aloud his thoughts,]
Of course, the sweets to go with the tea is a key point...
[Realizing what he said he blinks in surprise and hastily adds,]
I drink green tea and macha, mostly, so it is important to counter the bitterness with sweet.
