Old age will come and it's not kind. And when you go, as go you must, You yourself will make more dust! | |
They only have a bit of time to try to figure out what, exactly, it wants from them -- and then things begin to happen. Welcome to Awash's first event log, everyone! Further information on this event can be found here at the OOC post. |

A human skull. His hands turn it a little, his eyes narrowing as he inspects it. A real human skull...?]
Where the hell did you find this?
no subject
The rest of the skeleton is there, but I thought this was enough. [ He leans against the doorframe, because standing hurts less and less everyday, but he's still healing from a deep muscle injury. ]
There's no sign of trauma that I saw. [ He didn't look that closely, admittedly. ]
no subject
Shouldn't you be asking your boyfriend why he has something like that in there? [He's joking, of course, as flat as it is. It wouldn't belong in the floor boards. He steps forward, brushing past Fushimi with the skull still in hand to go to the source of this.]
no subject
I'm not telling him. [ Yata's not great with ghosts, please understand, he'll never sleep in that room again. ]
We should check the rest of the house.
no subject
[He complaints, but he passes the skull back to Fushimi, and then ducks back ahead into this closet. He's getting out the rest of it, it sounds like, and he's not questioning the Yata thing.]
But I don't really want to live over bodies, so we have to anyway. Ugh. This thing doesn't have anything left on it... How long has it been here?
no subject
It's like they just curled up and died a thousand years ago. [ Except they should be mummified rather than ... skeletal, but Fushimi hasn't done that much information into how dead bodies deteriorate. ]
no subject
[He's finding that out now as he pulls out more of the bones. Bits and parts, a full skeleton.] No cobwebs, and there's no dirt, so it's not like this was pulled out of a grave...
There's no one here who'd try a sick prank like that on you two, right?
no subject
There isn't anyone here I know from home, as far as I'm aware, and I haven't made any outright enemies. [ A beat, and then -- ] Misaki doesn't like ghosts, so it would be more effective on him than me, but most people don't know that.
[ Fushimi's apathy would probably overpower most ghosts. ]
no subject
[So it extra makes no sense. Pulling out the last bone, and double checking, he sighs as he puts things back into place and turns back to the pile he's created. It's a full skeleton. Every bone, not a piece missing.]
I'll have to take it out to the forest and put it to rest. [What else could he do?]
no subject
He shrugs a shoulder up, seemingly unconcerned by the idea of either burying it or not. ]
We should check the rest of the house for more, first.
