What: Bogeyman take down! This goes throughout the town ending at either the well or the harbor, depending on how things go, but they'll be working to keep it out of the line of people.
Warnings: Violence, gore, horrible monsters, death

[They've gathered together, they have a plan, and now the Boys™ are ready to take the monster down before anyone else gets hurt! Guren has made it clear that his group is going to draw it out first with Dextera's magic and immediately fling it at Dave's group, continuing in a ping pong sort of pattern until they end at the well, or the worst case scenario, all the way past it to the harbor, the second "ideal" open area decided on.

That's the gist of it!! Separate top levels below for each group and the aftermath.]

[ At this rate, they only need a little more to finish it off. There's blood and dark ichor seeping everywhere from the creature, splattering onto the ground and forming stretches of horrific mud. Ryo lifts his rifle once more so he can put another bullet in its head, and finds that his arm isn't moving as easily anymore. The bogeyman had injured it pretty badly earlier but he ignored the pain and kept using it; maybe he inadvertently caused nerve or muscle damage by doing so.

Thankfully, it's his non-firing arm, but it's still bad and he can't use it to steady his weapon anymore. He bites his lip, tries to force his arm to work properly—and that's when something lurking in the recesses of his mind decides to lend a hand. Suddenly, there's a heavy thickness in the air that wasn't there before, a buildup of static electricity that makes the hairs on Ryo's neck stand.

There's a metallic taste at the tip of his tongue and he knows exactly what's about to happen. He's read about this, about survivors of lightning strikes saying they experienced a sour or metallic taste shortly before they were struck. ]

Watch ou— [ He doesn't even get to warn them before the bolt of lightning strikes the bogeyman with a deafening crack and a blinding flash of light. The creature roars, convulsing violently as the electricity audibly courses through its injured body. It's still alive somehow, clinging to life by a mere thread, but it's unlikely that it will be able to last through the next attack. ]

[...The last attack being, really, the one that's still going with Guren and Okuyasu. The lightning is blinding, startling and hot, but it misses the both of them, somehow? That's not normal. But Guren (Mahiru?) doesn't care. His sword swings back in and stabs through, driving it one last time into The Hand, so that together, they can crush the last remaining parts of the bogeyman while it's stunned.

It's gone, a mess of remains in the rain. A corpse that he's not sure is really a corpse. Still, Guren kicks it to the ground and checks it, waits, feels— it's gone. It's not coming back.]

It's dead.

[Breathed out simply, though he's not done by any means. Dextera is no longer a person but a crystal, now, thoroughly dead, and Ryo and Okuyasu are bleeding here. But he can use this demon's strength, whatever's left of it, to find John and Dave, who are presumably dead, and move them out of the rain for later.]

Good work. Wait here, and I'll come back to take you to someone who can help.

[He doesn't even wait for confirmation, hopping away for a second.]
