t first, it seems a little too simple for a true test of morals. Don't eat, don't take, don't look? The most basic of requirements. And with guides, it isn't too difficult at all to avoid those obvious pitfalls. At least, until the Town's suddenly far, far too empty, almost eerily so -- until there's nobody there but your fellow reds, or blues or yellows, in a town that is far too big for just a portion of the people there. [ There is a guy. A guy who looks kind of sad? Josuke knows it's none of his business, but it's hard for him to see someone who looks like they could be crying and ignore it completely. That's the sort of person he is -- a little too friendly and caring for his own good, and maybe a little meddlesome. Anyway, it's understandable to be distressed at the situation right now. They've gone a few days at this point not knowing if they'll ever see those missing people again. If Bruce is here, it's likely that he failed the test too, and it's kind of implied that there would be consequences. Anyone would be feeling fearful. Josuke himself is glad he's somehow in the same cruddy down again and not, like, hella dead because he happened to take a bottle of hair-gel that was just screaming at him to be picked up. Those consequences might strike them later, but for now, they're fine.

Okay, he'll walk over. If the guy wants to be left alone after all, he can always just leave. ]

Hey, man. Are you alright? No need to cry or anything ... [ Here is a helpful teen with helpful, reassuring words. He's also misinterpreting the whole situation, probably. ] If you're looking for someone, we can go look together. Come on.

He's not exactly expecting someone to pop up and try to comfort him (Does he really look that distressed?) but he shouldn't be that surprised about in a place like this. So far, this place -- Chroma? -- it's been impossibly sweet aside from the odd fairy tale hijinks or two.

So, he'll look up, raising an eyebrow at Josuke and just proving he wasn't crying but his very, very dry face. ]

... I'm not crying. [ Sheesh. ] And I think the person I'm looking for is still trapped with the other colors.
