Welcome to Awash's second intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. New characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out. Thankfully, they have some friends on the outside, this time. | |
ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light.

[That's honestly more for the way she's shouting than anything. Like he cares about the eggs? Ling will eat them regardless, so it's probably fine, but still, he gets to his feet. Fingers change into claws, and he dips them into the boiling water, pulling them out and setting them on the counter.

[ She sits up a little straighter, looking almost impressed at the thought. The idea of people coming after you to kill her isn't unfamiliar, if a little different in scale, so she's immediately intrigued. ]

So each clan sends a woman to bang the emperor, so there's fifty heirs and nobody's got an unfair advantage to the throne, theoretically, except it doesn't really work out like that? But anyway . . . so Ling's from the Yao clan, and he beat out all his siblings because he went out to a different country, met me, and together we figured out how to bring home a hell of a prize and make him the most valuable heir.

That sounds tiring, having to leave home for something like that... Where I'm from, my prefecture's split into four gangs, and we fight every once in a while and whoever wins, gets control of the territory. Wouldn't facing them directly be must easier? Doesn't look like it'd be a problem, with you there.
