Welcome to Awash's second intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. New characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out. Thankfully, they have some friends on the outside, this time. | |
ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light.

Anyway, we ran into were these shadow creatures, and they can't be touched or fought by normal means or with physical weapons, and those seem to be reoccurring in the forest, but that aside... ogres, minotaurs, and, despite this world being different from the one we're all from, there have even been creatures to show up from ours.
The gist of the forest comes down to a "Everything's Fucking Dangerous" in the end. Excuse my French. Last time the town went out together, we came back and had our own shadows try to kill us, so... nothing's exactly fun out there.

Have you found something that hurts the shadows or did you simply find a way of escaping them?
[Ogres and minotaurs - even Horsemen like what might be in his world are all something he won't have much problem with. So the shadows are the most important to ask about.]

Light will stave them off, but I haven't necessarily heard of anything to hurt them, no. They're stronger at nighttime, too... [ Admittedly, he didn't know too much about them beyond "They almost drowned me". ] It hasn't been a problem for a while, but we also have been only scarcely venturing into the forest.
There's too much in there we don't know about, so we have people patrolling the edges and what-not... [ And Caramia didn't seem too please about that fact. ]
