Intro Log.

It's raining, it's pouring.
The old man is snoring.
He bumped his head and went to bed
And he couldn't get up in the morning.

ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light.

It looks like a long trip upwards, a small cylinder with walls of brick that's just a little too high to reach, even when jumping. Getting out is probably going to be a bit of a task, especially considering the water is more than cold enough to make limbs go numb.

The dark makes it impossible to see much further, but the space seems large, all filled with water, but with no other way out, stone walls the only thing for an intrepid explorer to find. Oh, and to make things even better, it's raining today. Water from below (though thankfully only like, knee-deep), and water from above... how fun.

But most importantly of all... you're not alone.

Welcome to Awash's second intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. New characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out. Thankfully, they have some friends on the outside, this time.

Once out, they'll be free to explore the various locations the Town has to offer at will. Just try not to die on any of the far-too-rickety walkways.

Please feel free to ask any questions here and don't forget to greet your fellow players here!

Yeah, I think I get what you're feeling right now. Trust me, this place can be even weirder.

[Kirishima nods empathically and then furrows his brows in thought.]

I arrived with my friends here on March 15th. That's pretty much two months ago already. [His expression turns unhappy at the reminder of how long they have been stuck here by now.]

My name is Kirishima Eijirou, I'm from Chiba. ...although I've been living the last couple of months in Mustafu, where I also go to school. I'm from Yuei, heroics department! That means I'm studying to become a hero! Do you know what a quirk is?

[He was trying to help. That was something Mahmut could appreciate, at least.

Even if most of what he was saying was just contributing to his growing headache.]

Two months...that is quite a long time if it's true.

[His voice was deceptively calm, almost cold but his hands were balled into tight fists. He can't...waste that much time here. He can't possibly afford to. But whatever. Getting angry is what children did and he was no child.]

I'm Mahmut Tughril. I'm a pasha from the Turkieye Stratocracy. [Though he's yet to meet anyone who knows where that is...] I...assume by quirk you mean something other than a strange habit. [Because it sounds...like it meant something else the way he was saying it.] I have never heard of a school having a heroics department. Is it...like a military academy?

[Because that's his only point of reference here...]

You're telling me.

[Kirishima makes a chagrined face.]

I, my friends and everybody else who's here have been doing our best to figure things out but this place is a real mess. Nothing makes sense here, starting from the missing colors all the way down to the missing original people of this city and the banshees!

[Shaking his frustration with their lack of progress off Kirishima offers Mahmut a nod and a smile.]

Pleased to meet you, Mahmut. I can call you Mahmut, right? You can call me Kirishima too! I haven't ever met anybody who's from Turkey before. That's quite a far way from Japan, isn't it? And you're pretty good at connecting dots, even when you're still missing the final line by a few!

[Smiling, he starts to gesture along with his words, attempting to help express with his arms what he can't with words alone.]

I'll answer the easier question first, with quirk I mean that one trait that everybody has that makes them unique. There's various types and they can be strong or weak, but pretty much everyone has one. They're what makes you you.

Heroes are a bit like military in that we fight and help during all kinds of bad situations as well, but heroes are more specialized than that. Being a professional hero is pretty much what it says on the tin - that you're a specially trained person with special authority and skills whose job it is to help others! This includes working with the police to prevent and fight crime, but we're also active during natural disasters, accidents, fires, when an old lady needs help shopping because she's sick... [He shrugs his shoulders.] It's pretty much everything except war-like fighting. That'd be crazy.
