Welcome to Awash's second intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. New characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out. Thankfully, they have some friends on the outside, this time. | |
ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light.

[ Pain suddenly radiates from the hoof-print now imprinted on his shoulder beneath his coat but he ignores it in favor of calming Lily down. He grabs her bridle to stop her from bolting and runs a hand down her mane, murmuring soothing words. When she finally settles she looks up at nudging his side in silent. ]
It’s fine. It’ll heal.
[ He pats her neck reassuringly while holding her bridle just in case. Lily didn’t spook easily which meant she must have caught the scent of a top predator.
Zero looks up then, the rain running down his face. He couldn’t leave her alone and with his shoulder now sprained for the next hour he couldn’t climb out easily either. ]
Come on.
[ He runs a hand down her mane, stopping suddenly when he hears something ahead. ]

ii.Sleepless Night
a. Roommates
[ Zero can be heard moving around in his room for a few minutes before coming out just as quickly as he came in ready to leave without a “Hello” let alone “Goodbye”.
In his hands are a few blankets, a pillow and is hat a shower curtain? Sure is! It’s waterproof after all. He’ll come to an abrupt stop the moment he runs into someone, surprised to find anyone there. ]
b. A Make-Shift Stable
[ Zero can be found around the Ruga district with a white mare in tow. He walks in front, leading the horse by a bridle as he looks for a place to house the large animal.
Just passing by? Zero will stop you to ask for a place large enough to accommodate a large horse. Maybe you spotted the weirdo out on a rainy day with his hair plastered to his face and just want to say hello. He’ll be around town until he finds a suitable stable-like place for both of them because he’s not leaving her out here alone in this shitty place. ]

[Easy enough to answer that, and he knows the new arrivals probably aren't very trusting of those of them who were already here yet. Still, he wants to help, so they can all get settled in nicely. So he nods at the horse.]
