Intro Log.

It's raining, it's pouring. The old man is snoring. He bumped his head and went to bed And he couldn't get up in the morning.

ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light. It looks like a long trip upwards, a small cylinder with walls of brick that's just a little too high to reach, even when jumping. Getting out is probably going to be a bit of a task, especially considering the water is more than cold enough to make limbs go numb. The dark makes it impossible to see much further, but the space seems large, all filled with water, but with no other way out, stone walls the only thing for an intrepid explorer to find. Oh, and to make things even better, it's raining today. Water from below (though thankfully only like, knee-deep), and water from above... how fun. But most importantly of all... you're not alone. Welcome to Awash's second intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. New characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out. Thankfully, they have some friends on the outside, this time. Once out, they'll be free to explore the various locations the Town has to offer at will. Just try not to die on any of the far-too-rickety walkways. Please feel free to ask any questions here and don't forget to greet your fellow players here!

[It was a slightly more petite breed, certainly, with some similarities to the breeds that came from Central but also...it doesn't look exactly like any modern breed. After all Mahmut was from a version of the continent that was centuries away from modern times.]

I see. If that is the case, hopefully there is someone here who knows how to build one. [Because though he understood how to set up a stable and what supplies it needed, building one from the ground up was something else. After all, his specialty is war not architecture.]

But if there is already a horse here can I presume that there is something we can feed them here? [Or he can take his horse grazing...but the grass is all grey...]

One could hope. They would first need to find the proper materials, but I am certain others have that type of talent.

[He knows someone who can help him cut wood but as far as it went with anything else, Kei's strength was more economics and this was not it.]

Yes...it's not quite perfect, and some of the items it eats may end up being flavorless but it will sustain him. Anything missing color won't taste like much of anything.

Some of the food, yes. If the food is grey, there will be little taste to it.

[In Kei's terms anyway. He always forces himself to eat everything because a man shouldn't be a picky eater (he's dumb).]

The forest seems to be the current central area for investigation on what is happening here. There are creatures that show up in it from time and time and trying to explore a short while ago yielded...interesting results.

We were separated as we walked and ended up in small groups. My group found a chest with various weapons in it, however as we got closer, pieces of our bodies started to fall off.

[The fact Kei is so nonchalant about it might be the most worrying thing of all.]

It was not painful, just annoying.
