Intro Log.

It's raining, it's pouring.
The old man is snoring.
He bumped his head and went to bed
And he couldn't get up in the morning.

ou wake in knee-deep water, cold as ice and stagnant, in a space that is far too echoey and spacious. It feels like a massive cave, but looking up... there's only one small, circular opening that shows grey sky and shines any sort of light.

It looks like a long trip upwards, a small cylinder with walls of brick that's just a little too high to reach, even when jumping. Getting out is probably going to be a bit of a task, especially considering the water is more than cold enough to make limbs go numb.

The dark makes it impossible to see much further, but the space seems large, all filled with water, but with no other way out, stone walls the only thing for an intrepid explorer to find. Oh, and to make things even better, it's raining today. Water from below (though thankfully only like, knee-deep), and water from above... how fun.

But most importantly of all... you're not alone.

Welcome to Awash's second intro log, everyone! Please review the FAQ and rules before playing. New characters have all woken at the bottom of the well in the middle of the town (which seems a lot bigger on the inside, somehow), and it looks like they'll have to put in some work to get out. Thankfully, they have some friends on the outside, this time.

Once out, they'll be free to explore the various locations the Town has to offer at will. Just try not to die on any of the far-too-rickety walkways.

_{[ not commenting on the Serket part cause every Serket he's met had been absolutely whack.
His panic has turned to relief and.. oh my god, he's actually smiling. That hasn't happened in awhile. His hand eases over his chest, feeling his own heartbeat that is nearly pounding out of his body. His eyes fan shut, closing as he takes in the fact that no, he's not dead, and no, this isn't a dream bubble, no, he isn't here alone with people he has no connection to.

He isn't here.. alone.

His eyes open as he looks at Dave. He's so delighted he wants to embrace Dave but decides that might be really weird since this is their first formal introduction, so he just.. remains seated, silently vibrating internally. Yeah. ]}

Strider, well, little Strider I guess? Let me tell you— _{[ HE'S STILL NOT.. INTRODUCING HIMSELF.. ]} you simply whisked me away in surprise, I'll have you know. I've been fretful since I got here today. Man, I cannot even begin to tell you how much of an emotional roller coaster it's been for me. You know, like if a roller coaster would fly off the tracks and go up in flames almost instantaneously? It's been like that, but I've been too reluctant and apprehensive to talk to anyone about this place or what is happening.

["Other universes", Hunk mouths which explains uh some of the other people in the well. Yeah. He visibly slows as they pass through the kitchen, obviously itching to go roaming around but eventually following.

You know. On a mission and stuff.]

Huh. This is kinda... nostalgic?

[STARES AT THE CONSPIRACY WALL before he takes a seat on the chair.]

[ when aqua makes her way to the house, zelda is already inside. however rather than rest, she is snooping around to look through whatever old and decrepit remnants there were of life before her arrival. she has a colorless blouse in her hands, tattered and not suitable for wear, which she looks over closely when she hears someone's footsteps. ]

Ling doesn't stumble so much as almost miss a step when Greed drags him off; he's not used to being physically yanked around as opposed to... mentally? Mentally kicked around? Kind of. This is a little brand new and a little not, all at once.]

No... it was just us when we got here. There aren't any other people--I mean, all of the people you'll meet here are people who were brought here like you.

And the color... it wasn't there either.

[With a bit of an amused huff - at this point it's nothing that he's surprised by. Even in the Toyotomi, there should be soldiers who were surprised with his easygoing nature regarding hierarchy.]

[Shiho has just walked out of her own house in Flavo, intending to head to Ruga and see Kaoru when someone speaks from a house she walks by (a new someone she assumes, having never actually seen this girl before).]

I've done a couple. What is it you're not clear on with the color requirements?

[The rain's the least of Izuku's worries, when word's going around that there's a new batch of people coming out of the well. So when Maya, a face that he definitely doesn't recognize, flags him down, Izuku goes to her without hesitation.]

You're new, right? You can ask as many questions as you like, I don't mind. [He pause.] Um, wouldn't you like to get out of the rain first, though?

[He wants--all of the potatoes, actually, and has already hopped off the windowsill and gravitated a little in that direction when Minato asks if he needs a towel.

Well. Objectively, yes?]

[Because obviously they're going? Obviously Greed is going to lead them there, let him be a leader, he's a great leader, GOD. Look, here they are, standing in the rain, all damp hair and scowling expression.]

[ zelda was in the same vicinity, though she didn't witness his attempt to eat. rather she's alerted to his presence when he makes his cry, and she quickly steps in the direction of the voice until she sees him. ]

[Oh. Oops. He seems to have startled Jake--oops.

Minato blinks slowly, and then even more quietly and carefully:]

[This isn't the first time Yuuri has woken up somewhere she doesn't recognize.

In fact, it's not even the first time she's woken up somewhere she doesn't recognize and been surrounded by water. It's a familiar enough sort of unpleasantness that the first thing she does when she realizes she's at a bottom of a well and it's raining is reel back and slam into the side of the wall (or directly into an unfortunately placed person), her face pale and her eyes wide. One word comes out in a choked gasp—]

Nakia..?

[...the rain continues. The water at their feet doesn't rise up and pierce anyone's flesh. It's just... water. Colorless water (which is weird in and of itself), but water.

God, it's cold. She draws her soggy, colorless cloak tightly around herself, as if that's going to keep her warm. One hand comes down to the sword at her waist, and she relaxes when she feels that it's still there. Shivering, she surveys their surroundings.]

...if we wait long enough the rain might fill the well up enough for us to tread water until we can reach the top, but we'd probably get hypothermia before that happened...

["Hypothermia" is a pretty modern word for someone who looks like she just walked out of the Bronze Age. Huh.]

02. is she a girl or is she a monkey, we just don't know;

[It's raining, it's pouring, and Yuuri is dying for a bite to eat. So what is she doing? Scrounging around for fruits. This means rifling through bushes for berries and climbing right up into trees to look for apples.

At one point, she finds some kind of fruit in a tree that hasn't regained its color and taste - but, not realizing yet that she can't eat that, she takes a bite. Anyone walking below will only get a loud "Ick!" as a warning before it gets tossed out to the ground (and hopefully not on their head).

Does she care that climbing trees in the rain is dangerous? No. Not really.

Also, I am not "little". [ he's tall? he's lik 5'10" that's tall? ] So that epithet doesn't quite hit the mark. But uh, yeah, if you want to talk about this place I am your guy? Been here like two months or whatever.

that said, with Ieyasu's rather monstrous strength, he has absolutely no problem tossing ling straight up, aiming to shoot him not only to the top of the well but a fair ways past it, so he should be able to clear the barrier rather easily regardless of his own athletic prowess]
