[Just call her Ochako-sensei, because even if it takes fifty lessons to bring him up to speed, she is determined to turn him into an amazing fisherman. Minato is... well, he's her friend, of course, but he was there for her when she needed him the most. He's worth any amount of effort.]

I won't let you down! You'll pick it up in no time, Minato-kun. The hardest part of fishing is just sitting and waiting!

[It's Thrilling, honestly, but she still looks pumped as she gestures for him to follow her over to the water.]

First we need to pick a really good spot. We're going to be here for a while, so it needs to be comfortable, you know?

[Ochako, you're always so good to him and have so much faith in him... a good girl. Minato just tilts his head a little, nodding.]

I think I can sit and wait, at least.

[He overestimates his own patience, honestly; he's going to be really bored. He's too much of a city boy for this.]

Well, I do have one place...

[It's a rickety old boat dock, actually. The boards have fallen through in some places, but she carefully leads him around the weakest spots until they make it to the very end; then she's placing her bucket between them before dropping down with a sigh, because it's time to chill, Minato. Ignore the oddly still water for now? Actually, it's probably best not to think about it at all.]

Nice, isn't it? [Relatively speaking, of course.] But, um... Minato-kun, how do you feel about worms?

Minato looks at the rotting dock a little uncertainly, though he follows her without any actual fear (maybe he can fix this up a bit with Ochako...? Or for her, at least), and then he plops down next to her, hands still in his pockets.

They don't bother me, really... I haven't dealt with them a lot [cities!!] but I can handle them. We have to use them as bait, right?

[Anything can be nice when you're super-duper positive! And wow, if Minato found a way to fix up her favorite fishing dock, Ochako would lose her mind. That's, like... peak niceness...

But hmm, back to the matter at hand: worms. It's a relief to hear that he's not afraid of them or anything, so she gently nudges the bucket closer to him.]

We do! You have to... stick them on the hook, but it can be tricky. Maybe you should be in charge of that part for the rest of the day? Just to make sure that you get plenty of practice?

[Ah, but that's not the entire truth? She pauses for a moment, feeling guilty, before she finally blurts out—]

[She's just going to sheepishly look away now, so don't mind her. They're gross, grey bugs, but they're still alive!]
