Okuyasu & Ochako
[Truth be told, Kei's house was somewhat clean, but if a child had done it - which was about his skill level. The ugly blue walls clashed with everything around then and his motorbike was in the living room.
Kei sat in one of the chairs - not exactly looking its best and honestly more like it was about to break at any second. He had some cut up pieces of wood that now were makeshift benches. It was better than nothing, really.
He looked...well...a little more melancholic than usual.]

Okuyasu has prepared an IOU claiming he won't get in Nanjo's space for like a week, just in case learning his real wish goes south. This is... the most effort he's put into his own behavior... ever.
But shit, what is happening in this house?]
Hang on, you keep your bike in the middle of the damn house?
no subject
So she's just going to give Nanjo her warmest smile as she tries to smooth everything over.]
It's important. You're trying to keep it safe, right? [It's cool, Nanjo, she understands.] And I hope we're not bothering you. We haven't seen you in a while, so we were wondering how you've been holding up!
no subject
She's right. It's safe to keep it here than risk it getting taken. Not that I don't trust others, merely that considering what has happened to us so far, everything disappearing outside of our buildings is not something I put in the realm of impossibility.
[Yeah tldr; he wanted to keep it safe.]
I've been fine, thank you. [He doesn't sound quite as fine as he says but haha Kei being open about his own feelings.]
no subject
[He'll be nice... he won't make fun of the motorcycle in the living room. It's funnier than the piano John kept around for weeks, but okay!! He is on his best behavior.]
You sure you're okay, dude?
no subject
It's okay to tell us how you really feel. We're your friends!
no subject
Briefly.
You might have missed it. Especially when his thoughts stray off to something else entirely.]
Yes, I am fine. [A pause.] Considering the amount of people no longer with us, I am hopeful that everyone returned home safely.
no subject
Yeah, and people turning into statues... [like, for example, Iida—] Gonna be honest, I dunno who's gone. I can't keep track of that kinda thing.
no subject
I'm sure they're fine, just like everyone who turned into statues. [So don't bring the mood down! She'll kick him if he does it again. But, more importantly—] Did someone important to you disappear, Nanjo?
[She, uh. Never met Mitsuru? That would explain a lot, though. Poor, sad buddy...]
no subject
Someone from my own future, yes. I wouldn't say Miss Misturu is as important to me as she is to Mister Minato, however. [Well okay, there you go.] That being said, with her gone, I will see if I can take over the town hall meetings. It's what I can do in her absence. Perhaps set up a book so we can keep everyone's names and make sure we know who has disappeared and who is merely statue.
[She's not lost somewhere here either, he hopes.]
no subject
[He's not sure what else to say, if only because he didn't know her; the basic truth that it sucks when people disappear is the best he can come up with. So...]
Well, I think you'd make a pretty good town hall meeting guy.
no subject
I think so, too. You've already come up with one amazing idea! And I bet that Mitsuru would be happy to know that you're carrying on what she started.
[She set up the meetings, so surely Mitsuru is that type of responsible person? Whatever, Ochako's running with it.]
So! Is there anything that we can do to help?
Kei needs more smiling icons I stg
Thank you. I'll have to think of plans first and announce my intentions tomorrow. I'll let the both of you know.
[That being said, he will slowly bring this entire meeting back into what it was supposed to be, or at least he assumes.]
Now, was there any particular reason you came, or was it just to talk?
i will imagine it
Well, uh- [Now he actually does look at Ochako, though, since she probably has a better handle on how to make this sound less... ridiculous.] You got anything you wanna do? Like, something special?
[Hmm no, it still sounds ridiculous, Ochako please save him.]
no subject
We thought that maybe we could all do something fun together! But we couldn't think of anything in particular, so... Nanjo, you should pick. We can do whatever you want!
[What is moderation? Ochako doesn't know. She's laying it on thick.]
no subject
What are the both of you up to...
[
Negotiations failed. He does not trust this, must less them together.]I don't have anything special planned. As for fun, my idea of fun is writing papers on economics or discussing the future of the school system or politics which...all subjects which I feel will bore the both of you. [At least he is being honest, right?] Perhaps we could attempt to do one of the requests that have appeared. Gathering geese should be easy between the three of us.
[He may need to be stopped and explained in clear language.]
no subject
Is that your number one wish, or nah? Cuz I don't think it sounds like a real wish.
no subject
I-I don't think it has to be your biggest wish, but you can tell us, anyway. We'll do our best!
[So out with it!]
By computer problems I mean computer problems yesterday and a busy Sunday gomen
Nani the fuck[He stares at he both of them in silence for a little more, dawning upon him that they are trying to figure out what he might like to make that quest viable. However, he realizes that his wishes here could never be realized...]
...thank you, but my number one wish, is impossible in this world. It is a promise I made to someone important to me. [Still he might as well tell them. They deserved that.] I doubt I could become the number one man in Japan here.
[He stops becoming pensive.]
The other important wish would be that we all get out of here safely.
no subject
Yeah, I knew about that one. [he did remember this butler promise] Gimme your number three, then. Or something simple, before I gotta go with the last resort.
[The IOU. He'll do it, glancing at Ochako as if to say don't doubt the stupid IOU, it's viable.]
no subject
Come on! Tell us something! We're definitely not leaving until we make one of your wishes come true.
no subject
Truly, my only wishes involve in this world is the survival of others. [Look, he might be a dick, but he's not an asshole either. That being said, how can you wish for things when you are as rich as he is? He doesn't have needs, and he knows neither of them can help him there, unless he is able to remember them, if/when they return home.
Therefore, the best way to stop this is to turn the discussion over to them.]
How about if we try to make one of your wishes come true instead?
no subject
[Eh? Eh?? Is that anything? No, it's not, but Ochako is right - they are not leaving this house until something happens for somebody.
So,] I'm out, I guess. Ochako?
no subject
[She turns toward Okuyasu with a start, eyes widening in surprise. Wow! Putting her on the spot like this... such betrayal.]
No way! I can't think of anything at all. [Except for, like, mochi, but that's no good at all. So back to Nanjo she looks. Don't do this to her, okay. This is cruel.] Please, Nanjo! There has to be something we can do for you.
no subject
As I said, it's quite kind of the both of you to do that, however...
[He gives a small curious look at Okuyasu. How about you get put in the spotlight.]
...I thought you'd say something like requesting to ride my motorcycle. You seemed rather eager to do so before.
