[Izuku stills in his chair as the magic begin to work. It's weird, feeling the way the deep gash in his side is closing up on its own. Then again, getting healed from the injuries he's put himself through is always jarring in a way.]

[Izuku will feel his energy replenished as the wounds begin to close up and vanish, and he even glows a little - but it only needs to take a few seconds. It's over quickly, and she steps back, pleased.]

I already know the answer, but how do you feel now?

[Izuku presses a hand to his side, marveling when the ache he'd just started getting used to isn't there anymore. And wow, he doesn't even feel exhausted, like after he's been healed by Recovery Girl. This world's healing is truly something else.]

[She seems surprised for a moment, but then smiles, and squeezes his hand.]

[Well, if he wasn't aware of what he was doing before, he definitely is now. As soon as it hits him that he'd just reached for her like that without permission, Izuku's face quickly heats up and turns red.]

O-oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! [He squeaks out and pulls his hand away, stuttering all the while.] I shouldn't have done that!

Done what? Comforted me in my hour of need?

[She can't help but tease him.]

[Be gentle, Maribelle... his heart can't handle the teasing!!]

I-I mean... The...touching part. [That sounds really terrible without context, though Izuku's already flustered enough to miss it.]

[Look if she doesn't show any mercy to her future son, deku's not getting any]
