Event Twenty-One

Sometimes I feel happy, Sometimes I feel sad. Sometimes I feel curious, Sometimes I feel mad. Sometimes I feel silly, Sometimes I feel surprised. How many feelings, Do I have inside?

t's another regular, normal day in the Town. There's absolutely nothing to show that anything could possibly be wrong; the birds are chirping, the sky is bright, and everything is absolutely, entirely wrong. This time, though? The problem is internal. Slowly, bit by bit, people are going to stop feeling entirely like themselves -- or maybe even stop feeling at all. And suddenly that nice, bright day doesn't seem quite so nice and not quite so bright any longer after all. Welcome to Awash's Twenty-First event log, everyone! You want to kill an immortal being? Why?

They've been a fairly significant problem in our world- sowing chaos where they please and unsettling the world.

[ He continues: ]

Could it be that these immortals are demonic in nature?

Demonic? Well- that would depend on how you defined it, I suppose…. They're not voidsent themselves, to the best of our knowledge, though they can command them.

[ Voidsent? So, that's the word for demons where he comes from, hm? He frowns a little in thought as he wonders what exactly that means. He also wonders, as he starts to sweat, if he should mention that he's immortal.

Why would I do that? That's a stupid thing to do! That sounds like a good way of having someone point a sword at him and claim him to be an enemy on principle, anyway!! The immortal that I am is way different than the immortal that he's fighting, because I definitely can be killed, okay?! I just can live a long, long time. But anyway, anyway!! Let's just shove all of that to the side. ]

It sounds as though you have quite the task in front of you. I wonder why it is that they are causing such chaos. [Like, are they mindless gods that are just here to wreck shit, or do they have some thought out reason for it? ]

[Ascians are a specific type of immortal- but that might still be something to be wary of.]

As far as we've been able to gather, they seek to ressurrect their deity, through causing that chaos and Calamities. [If there was one thing Lahabrea's presence was good for- he supposes it's that.]

And the deity is an evil god or goddess?

[ What a weird way to revive something. But, at least, the storyline is something that kind of understands. Or rather, it is something that he's encountered before in videogames and manga. But I really never understood much about how it works -- causing a lot of chaos in order to revive a god. I just don't see how that would work! ]
