Event Twenty-One

Sometimes I feel happy, Sometimes I feel sad. Sometimes I feel curious, Sometimes I feel mad. Sometimes I feel silly, Sometimes I feel surprised. How many feelings, Do I have inside?

t's another regular, normal day in the Town. There's absolutely nothing to show that anything could possibly be wrong; the birds are chirping, the sky is bright, and everything is absolutely, entirely wrong. This time, though? The problem is internal. Slowly, bit by bit, people are going to stop feeling entirely like themselves -- or maybe even stop feeling at all. And suddenly that nice, bright day doesn't seem quite so nice and not quite so bright any longer after all. Welcome to Awash's Twenty-First event log, everyone! (He feels a niggling at the back of his mind, like there is no point to this, but he doesn't listen.)]

It'll wear off on its own.

[Unless Dextera knocks himself out first... but hopefully that won't happen. At least, he hopes not. He's not sure what to do, then...]

And if… I run?

[ dextera could do what he always does. he could try to escape, to corner himself until this horrible feeling wears off, but his memories know that this kind of thing doesn’t just go away. ]

Will it follow me?

It will. For awhile.

[It's a feeling, after all - but mostly, it's kept up by his Persona's magic. It's conceivable that at some point, it will fall away from Dextera.]

I won't. [He feels he's done enough.]

[ it will. it always follows him, whether it’s someone else’s or his own pain on his shoulders, twisting in his guts. ]

I can’t… stay here.

[ he also doesn’t feel like he can move, but a heavy step backwards says otherwise. ]

[Akira already said he wouldn't follow. He doesn't make any move to hurt Dextera further, either.]
