Open Mingle for Post Dragon Invasion Clean Up
WHO: Everyone in Town
WHERE: All over
WHEN: After the dragons leave
WHAT: Repairing buildings, dealing with dragon corpses, freaking out about the encroaching forest, dealing with injuries, etc.
WARNINGS: Dead dragons, maybe.
The dragons sure did a number on the town, didn't they?
Buildings have been burned down (or crushed), the forest has apparently decided to play at territory invasion (again) and there are dragon cadavers around the town.
And, unfortunately, these things don't magically take care of themselves.
Thankfully, as long as everyone pitches in, clean up shouldn't be too hard!
Maybe. Assuming at least a few people know what they're doing. Except, you know, apparently the trees on the edge of town grow back the next day if destroyed.
((OOC: Just a mingle post for post event stuff! Go ahead and make your own top levels!)

There's nothing she can really do in this situation except take a bite. So... gathering her courage, she holds her breath and goes for it, just stuffing a big chunk in her mouth before she can think twice.
And it's...
She might be turning green? ]
Egkh - [ Is all she can get out, inbetween chewing on the food. She's too stubborn, or maybe too confused at the mishmash of flavors, to spit it out, so she just swallows it instead. ]

Are you--are you alright? You don't have to force yourself, you know! If it doesn't taste good, you can leave it for me.

The stupid actress in her is too stubborn to give up the gag. This time, the chunk of meat goes down without complaint, though she will take a glass of water, if he manages to find one. ]
Eegh. Dragon meat is a tough beast. [ She sighs, or maybe it's a breath of relief for that experience getting easier on the second bite. She pokes a little chunk of meat in her bowl with a finger, and it hardly budges. ] ...Literally. There's way too much in here for one person to eat before it goes bad.

You're right, this meat is a little tougher than I expected...maybe it would do better if I boiled it more? To soften it. [Ah, but...] Once it goes bad I'll be forced to throw it out--which means I should experiment while I can, I suppose.

Why stop there? Throw some salt on it to preserve it and cook it throughout the year! Make a real show of it! Besides, the worst that could happen is that you cook it 'til it's inedible, anyway.
no subject
That's a wonderful idea! I hadn't considered preserving it that way. And considering it was edible to begin with, I'm sure it will be edible in the end as well!
[Laughing a little as he says this--he's serious though! Also gonna take another bite of his own meat. Hmm yes this sure is edible food!]
no subject
I know, I know, I'm incredible. Your praise humbles me.
[ Wait a minute, did he say - ]
...Hold on, food can turn inedible really quick, you know!
no subject
Hm? Ah, of course I wouldn't serve rotten food to a friend! There's no need to worry on that front.
