"And I understand farmland is vastly different than your beastly habitat, but I can't imagine even the dullest, slowest, most worthless cub in existence would have even the slightest amount of difficulty pushing through a field of wheat."
As if to demonstrate, he walks unhindered right on up to him... and then kicks him in the leg. Gently, at least.
"Maybe you're losing your legs?" He'll crouch down beside him after a moment, reaching as if to check for Caramia's pistol. "If so, I might as well just put you down now--I absolutely refuse to drag you through all of this."
How charming! At least the birds seem to have quieted a bit, but a few do swoop in to land on the fence Caramia had had his eye on. They only watch for now, but they seem a little too interested to remain a neutral party for long.
