[OPEN] Thought that I'd forget all about the past.

Who: Sinistra and YOU
Where: Around Town and probably the forest
When: Sometime early-mid December
What: Monthly catch-all. Bell quests, Goin Ghost, Moping Over his Brother... for now...?
Warnings: None yet

1. Snow

[ Sinistra has been given a terrible power.

He has learned about snowball fights as a form of play. As a man who was a boy who never got to play games outside of telephone chess, he's a little... excited about it? As much as such a subdued person can be.

So maybe, just maybe, as you walk through Ruga on one of December's snowy days, you'll feel a loosely packed ball of snow burst against your shoulder or side. You could ignore it, or maybe you'll look for the source. The even-faced man with the large, distant blue eyes doesn't look like a mischief maker but the end of his coat sleeves are definitely dusted with snow as if he reached right into a pile of it. ]

2. High Spirits

[ Sinistra is used to being opposite... about 50% of the population whenever weird things happen. Little really fazes him after all of the odd and terrible things that happened at home.

Really? He's just happy to have other people in his house regularly... even if those people are a small family that can't really see or hear him. Sure, it's like watching a film playing constantly around him, but he's a little enthralled by it? They seem so content. They are maybe the closest thing to a normal family that he's ever witnessed in his life. So, of course, he's curious and fond of seeing them be happy. Live their lives. And maybe that's not great?

For him, though, being ghostly is no big deal. He barely notices when he slips out of having a truly corporeal form every now and then. It's easy to catch him slipping through his door without opening it or reaching through the bookshelves in the library to grab at a book he hasn't read, only to fail to grasp it. He doesn't seem to stagger or startle when he's an inch or so above the floor, either. He's been moving as a ghost for much longer than he'd ever moved as a living person, so it's Whatever.

But maybe having this already grim looking man walk right through your back is not okay with anyone else. At least he says 'excuse me'? ]

3. I'll Have a Blue Christmas Without You

[ Despite all of this, Sinistra was having a fairly good first holiday season. He hasn't learned how to express a 'good mood', but he seemed even hearted and a bit more social throughout the month.

That is until Dextera went all statue on him.

Neither brother is Great at being separated. As much as Sinistra wants to be the strong big brother that sets a good example, he's not. He is absolutely not.

So, in the last week or so of the month, if you can find him anywhere at all, it might be outside feeding Dextera's chickens with a terribly dead look on his face or in his brother's room, laying on the floor stuck in a pretty hard depression. He doesn't know what to do with himself, so he barely does anything. He won't be answering messages or making much talk. He's also feeling uncooperative, so encouraging him or trying to drag him out for festive fun is going to be a fight all on its own.

It's not that he doesn't want to see his friends, but he's unfortunately way worse at coping than he thought. ]
