[He has no idea what Christmas spiders are, but decorating a tree is at least something that makes sense. There are no little bat charms around, but he could pretty easily make them with enough effort.]

I'm a yellow. [It's as abrupt as he ever is.] Come get and decorate a tree with me. [It's more like a demand than a request.]

The things on that list are too personal to just do just to get my stupid color back. Except for the yellow thing. That's whatever.

Of course I do. [They're just a small amount and even when he's not sure how he feels about it.]

The yellow thing is doing something "normal" with someone who's yellow. Mr. F seems to think that I don't know how to be seventeen.

[17... a child... Unfortunately though, what Val considers normal is very different than a human.]

Uh...Midoriya. He's a yellow about my age, green hair, green eyes, about your height? He's been here since the first group arrived. We've been friends for a while.

I have run into him once. I'm glad you have other comrades. [Can Val even say friends?] Make sure to take care of them.

[expulsions]

[...he just nods because he can't say that he will given he keeps losing comrades without warning. But he'll do his best.] It's the least we can do, right?

Exactly. As long as they're here, our comrades are our responsibility.

[Val doesn't know this but that actually makes it a little worse given that he's already assumed responsibility and also assumes responsibility for letting the town take away as many people as it has. But he nods and gives him a slight grin because that's a better response.]

And that's why we're taking a dead bear to our comrades for their consumption?

[promissum]

[Val, on the other hand, has decided everybody is under his protection as long as they're still there. If they go home, then there's no way for him to follow. He doesn't know where they're going, but they'll look into that soon enough.]

That's exactly right!

[And there's the dead bear!]

I can't get much out of this, but somebody can.

[He could definitely start sucking it's blood, but he still prefers sardines. Also bears are too high up on the food chain for him to want to consume it. Nevertheless, he picks the thing up.]

[Val picking up a dead bear with as tiny as he is is actually hilarious so...sorry that Percy's chuckling to himself.]

We probably won't have to look too far to find someone who wants it. You sure you've got it?

[It's nothing at all to him. Disgaea doesn't care about muscles. That said it's definitely just draped on his shoulder as he heads back to the town.]

Of course I'm sure. I wouldn't have picked it up otherwise.

Incredible. [WHATEVER. But alright then. Back to the town they go with...a...dead bear...and waiting for wishes to come true. Will they? Who knows.]
