Good news(?) on that front: while those first guardsmen are gone, there are definitely more coming, the sound of footsteps echoing down the hallways as they approach--

But they're accompanied by what sounds like complaining along the way.

"Listen, I didn't show up here on purpose, I swear, I'm sure we can... work something out? Maybe? I-- oh, hey."

Ryan gets shoved around the corner just ahead of them, and as soon as the guards realize they're not alone they ready their weapons, one of them keeping a grip on him while Ryan gives them both an apologetic look.

"...I brought company? Sorry about that, but, um, a little help would be great here-"
