t's a regular morning here in the Town. The sun isn't shining at all, snow is falling like crazy, and...there may be the sounds of shouts coming from the well, thoroughly muffled. Okay, so it's not a regular morning at all, but you'd better go help those people! The newcomers are here again. Of course, once you get to the well, you'll notice that there's actually no real help you can offer -- it's totally frozen over. As for the newcomers, well... hopefully being suddenly dumped into freezing cold water in the middle of November in a dark, damp well is your idea of a good time, because that's your life now! And that's not even taking into account the mirrors in everyone's homes that are about to wake up and start chattering... Welcome to Awash's thirteenth event log, everyone! Teddie had a bear suit when we first met him. He didn't even remember he was a shadow.

[Carefully with his free hand, he looks into his pockets to bring out his wallet, and unfolds a photo to show him.]

He's the one at the bottom left.

[??? This is too complicated for Akira, who's still trying to wrap his mind around even the basics involving the town.]

I don't think I get it... Sorry.

I'm not the type just to stand around and do nothing.

[He grins back at her, briefly giving a thumbs up and looking pretty much ready to fight anything that comes their way. The outfit is his school uniform, which, while he wasn't attending anymore, he had worn on his return during Golden Week for nostalgia purposes (yes this is very cheesy). The outfit is strange but he won't ask about it right away. Especially considering his own.]

That would be great. I'm Yu Narukami, pleased to meet you. What's yours?

[ He looks down at the mirror again before glancing up at Astrid, a tilt of the head to one side as he considers something, then holds it out. ]

It looks like it might be yours. Or a close relative.

[appraiser]

[ He doesn't really understand it either, not enough to explain it very well. ]

I'd try to explain it better, but I'm not sure I would do a good job... But I'll try. You came out of the well, earlier, didn't you? And before that, the last thing you recall must have been of your home, is that correct?

[ Not enough, just as he said. This may not be her empire, the people here may not be her responsibility, but she has no intention of leaving them to their somewhat poorly-equipped devices.

She's annoyed at the lack of foresight (winter is an inevitability, and she was blessed with having relatively mild winters in ancient Rome), but there's no point in pointing fingers at the lack of centralized government here. Not when those energies could be redirected toward more productive things instead. ]

The basic of basics, I see. If there were a governing council here, I would boldly take issue with them! The lack of foresight is disappointing, but it is too late to lament that.

[Ryuu turned behind him to see John before he looked at the area he pointed to. Oh, he didn't notice that, it's a good thing John was here.]

[Ryuu walked over to grab some before he turned to John again.]

Did you want to help? There's more than enough room to help!

Yeah, pretty much. I was at home watching the news, and after that everything is a blur. I don't remember falling asleep, or being knocked out...

[And he has no physical evidence to suggest the latter happened, either, which would have at least explained things a little more easily.]

[Compared to being shouted at by furniture or accidentally sharing her worst memories...

She doesn't mind if Nero sees. It seems fair given that Kaoru has seen hers. And, hey. It shows that at least no one is dealing with this on their own.

She's a bit surprised when the blanket gets draped over her mirror though. She smiles.]

Thanks, but you don't really need to do that. I'm fine! [She leaves the mirror floating again and tries to take the blanket and give it back.] I can deal with the mirror. I don't want you to be cold!

[ Man, it would be great if Fushimi could just hole up and perform actual tech support, but he doesn't have a damn clue about the arcane magic the laptops here run on. Witchcraft and spite, probably, or something like that, but he at least knows how to make them run.

Watching Rose try to find the wifi signal is kind of amusing, given the snow and all, but probably not conducive to being helpful. ]

They only work inside your house. There's not a network or any chargers. [ They're just magic, because of course they are!! Of course they are. ]

[ Fushimi watches McGillis tuck the mirror away, but doesn't comment on anything he sees in it -- he doesn't care about the reflections in there anymore than he cares about whatever other secrets reflective surfaces feel like spilling. It isn't going to do him the least bit of good to find out secrets in a way like this.

Not that Fushimi really wants to learn anyone else's secrets anyway... ]

It's not abnormal. [ Fushimi hesitates to call it exactly normal, because he doesn't want to normalize the weird stuff this place does, but is it pretty par for the course these days? Yeah... ]

If you break it, you'll probably get cursed or something.

You are not wrong. Personal hygiene is important, of course. But to sink into the waters of a bathhouse is a wonderful way to relax, to feel the day's fatigue leaving one's body, to socialize.

[ With mixed bathing, even. ]

[ She is baffled! But also there are more things wrong with what she's seeing than she cares to list. She can't take this. She simply cannot, but Lux is about to let this creepy transgression pass.

But then he winks at her (HOW DOES A SKELETON WINK), making a very exaggerated drinking option and she is Done. It's going to go through his bony throat and spill all over those books! He wouldn't dare!! ]

[ Fushimi catches sight of Gaelio and looks up... and up... and up. How tall does one person need to be?? That's taller than just about everyone Fushimi has met in person, and all of those people were definitely dressed in less weird outfits.

A part of Fushimi really thinks he shouldn't get involved with a weird blood-covered guy that probably barely fits through doors, but on the other hand, once Fushimi had an entire conversation with a bird, so all bets are off these days. ]

...are you hurt?

[ He can't actually tell where any of the blood is from, or if he's hurt, but he can at least offer to help. ]

[ That's an unexpectedly philosophical explanation for why John is offering to cuddle with strangers. Jion thinks it over for a moment, then nods. ]

Alright, that sounds fair. [ And then, pointing at the blanket, with a sheepish grin. ] Think I can fit under that without accidentally shoving you out of the way?

Oh. Well thank you. [The idea of everything being free doesn't seem right. There's no way a system like that could really work, is there?] Do y'know where we are in relation to Corus? There's plenty'a folk that'll be upset that I up and disappeared.

[Kaoru wasn't inside the church, but passing by outside. She came over because she sees a girl. She looked...awfully cold. And that sneeze was definitely worrying. She makes her way over and...it's like she's not even making any sound as she walks in the snow (she doesn't. Her feet are just barely touching the ground right now. Hopefully she won't accidentally surprise Lux when she speaks...]

Here, let me help. [She flicks her wrist and the doors fly open.] Why are you trying to get into the church?

[Somehow, Beka gets the impression that the other woman doesn't care quite as much about the other people stuck in the well.]

I'm fine. Done this before.

[Well, the getting Achoo onto her shoulders at least. Climbing not so much. Achoo whimpers softly, but is otherwise remarkably well behaved.]

Be better with more light though.

I did madam. [ She's taking care to form her words as carefully and properly as possible.]

As soon as I get Achoo here dry, we'll be moving off, I promise.

It's the same with me: finding myself here happened instantaneously. I think that's the case for everybody here.

[ He continues down the street, hands clasped behind his back and splitting his attention between the path at his feet and Akira beside him, apparently content enough to play tour guide despite only a month or so's familiarity with the area. ]

But there are also times when time passes in a blink, and you don't remember it. I turned to stone, once, I was told. It was only for a handful of weeks, and I don't remember it.

[She shrugs.]

Mostly been trying to ignore mine. Place is strange enough I don't need some mage prank distractin' me.

[ I got mod approval for Pharos, bless. He's going to visit Yu and wake him up at the dead of night sometime. ]

Oh, he's cute! [ He says this but he's looking at the other girls on the bottom row, you know how it is. They're cute!! When will more P4s app so he can meet them? ]

The knowledge that I was a Shadow was something I had suppressed too, but I was able to remember, eventually. The rest of these people are your friends too? They look happy.

[Beka's not from a world with the concept of hell, so she takes Mrs. O'Leary's description as just being a breed she's not heard of.]

Achoo's fine, I just did'na want her to get in trouble if you're girl ain't friendly.

[Achoo plops down next to Beka's side tail wagging and tongue hanging out, looking as friendly as possible.]

[I'm glad please come visit him. YU WOULD WANT ALL HIS FRIENDS you would love them Ryoji. He puts the picture back into his pockets carefully before nodding.]

He was able to awaken his Persona after facing off against his own shadow. I'm not exactly sure how that works but...[SHRUG.] They are...my important friends. I don't have everyone on that picture...we hadn't rescued Marie when this picture was taken...then there's all my new friends from just the last few days. That's when I ran into Elizabeth-san actually.

[Gee Yu, friendship is magic huh.]
