They both seem pretty confident in their abilities, and Akira is still pretending to be a normal high schooler, so he gladly lets them go ahead while he falls back, bringing up the rear guard. He keeps his eyes peeled for any kind of trouble, his knives at the ready under his hoodie if he needs them.
It's... weird, in the forest. More than weird. There's no sound, not from animals or wind rustling the trees. Other than the sounds of their footsteps, it's silent all around them.
