t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? It's on the quest forum. When you find your house there will be a laptop there and you can read it for yourself.

But it's basically a story of a guy who wants to woo his love and he needed to find a rainbow chicken in the forest to do it.

how far back in history are you guys?

We're not THAT far back!

I mean we sent the colonies in to space like... ninety years ago.

...And you guys didn't make phones that can take pictures?

I figure there was probably not that big of a need for it? As it is mobile phones are still notoriously bad at functioning on the colonies, and video broadcasts are still done with delays when sent anywhere than the source location.

War can make a lot of advances but it can also stagnate just as much.

Radio, mostly. Earth had an easier time getting more advanced communication methods, but the colonies are still struggling to get stuff that isn't affected by being in space.

We had some pretty damn smart scientists but they were mostly caught up in building bigger and better mobile suits. Or being forced to.

[ Jion wobbles slightly when they start moving, but grabs the saddle's pommel with both hands to keep himself balanced. He's definitely new to horse-riding -- he has no idea how to move with the horse's gait, bumping along awkwardly with each step, but he's still fascinated all the same. ]

-- woah! Oh man, this is so high up, and he moves so easily even with two people! This is so cool ...

[ He's so distracted there's a pause before he even realizes Tonbokiri's asked him something. ]

Um, yeah! I'm in Flavo! Oh, you can drop me off anywhere nearby though, I dunno if all the trees and stuff might make it hard for your horse to navigate ... I guess it's easy to keep him fed, at least, with all the grass around?

[To be fair, horses sway far more when they are moving slowly, so Tonbokiri thinks he's doing well!]

It's no trouble at all to go the whole way. I live in Flavo as well.
Haha, as for what Mikuniguro is eating, he's been a bit spoiled on apples recently. He doesn't appreciate colourless food, either. But things have gotten better bit by bit.

[The horse's ears perk back at the mention of apples. Is he being treated? He's carrying two huge guys right now, you know. You've gotta treat him.]

[Doesn't sound like someone who's a scientist, pilot or a mechanic. Most people in his world aren't just casually "into" things related to gundams and mobile suits.]

[And because his powers are a combination of psychokinesis and hypnosis, he could probably create a Gundam he could drive. But then Bandai would come and end them, so maybe that's not such a good idea.]

Pilot? Mechanic? Scientist? Soldier? Any one of those, really. I don't think I know a single person who's JUST a "fan" of Gundams or mobile suits.

And how the fuck do you make one out of a firetruck?
