t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. We call this place Chroma, but we're not actually sure where this or what this place is.

[ It's okay! She was likely not going to learn too much on her own anyway. The board is helpful, but talking to someone who's been here for a while is probably better.

A smile crosses her face at the sheepish expression on the other girl, trying to let her know that she didn't hold it against her. ]

Oh ... That's ... Definitely not where I was last I remember.

[That was... surprising. It probably read easily on his face that he wasn't expecting that. Most new arrivals really just want to settle in and be left alone for a time.]

[ To be fair, she wouldn't rest easy if she left everyone else in the well to fend for themselves in an unknown place. ]

[ She waves a little and then takes off in the direction of Bluo. Time to go ... find her house? ]

No idea. All I know is we're both a long way from Kansas, Toto.

Way differently. I'm not expecting to see mobile suits running around but I sure as fuck wasn't expecting magic, either.

[He's a little shocked, to say the least.]

I'm getting the sense you're the sort of person I might need to watch out for.

And what's a Kansas?

[Duo snorted, shaking his head.]

I'll have to introduce you to movies. ... somehow.

[Given the state of the town they're approaching, he's not expecting a theater nearby.]

[ Despite being far less technologically advanced than Duo's world clearly was, she even knew that the state of the town was not quite the best. This place clearly needed help. She didn't know what she could do to help, but that's something they both would find out, she was sure. ]

... I honestly didn't think it was gonna be this... rough looking.

[Sure, he'd grown up in some pretty nasty places, back alleys and the dark holes that the average colony resident wouldn't even so much as glance at.

This place, "Chroma" as he saw it called, looked like it really had seen better days.]

I guess this place really needs our help.

[ Though it would have been nice if the place had taken her at a time where things were a little better off back home ... ]

[Duo shifted on his feet, lips pulled taught as he scratched at the back of his neck and some of his tangled hair.]

I don't know what it expects to get out of me...

Me neither, but I guess that's something we'll find out?

[ Obviously it isn't going to dump them here and not eventually give them any clues, right?

[He looks very steadily into Percy's eyes. He doesn't seem so much insulted as very convinced that's the wrong terminology.]

Is there really no difference between the two? Or are you a hybrid?

All vampires are demons, but not all demons are vampires. Demons can be werewolves, death, succubi or other assorted types.

I just thought it'd be fun to see what kind of clothes you have! [She's assuming that's what's in the suitcase... Lottie doesn't strike her as someone who'd carry weapons in there instead. Though Okuni would be pleased if that were the case too.] I'm not interested in keeping or wearing them though.

[Okuni pats the edge of her own robe proudly, as if to say that she doesn't need anything besides her own old-timey attire.]

You could always try following him the next time he disappears. Surely, even someone like you can be stealthy when you need to be.

[She's not sure what kind of world Guren or Yuu are from, but she's sure that Chroma is a lot smaller in terms of size. Easier to follow people! Easier to stalk them!!]
