t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Not at all! In a sense, it's like finding a comrade here that you didn't necessarily expect to meet. It might mean that we Persona users are connected more than we thought.

[ It's a nice thought, anyway. ]

[ It's the kind of questions she's well used to fielding by now, so it no longer feels strange in the slightest. There's still an open interest and even wonder in her expressions, but it is tempered as she explains her own, admittedly quite unusual, circumstances. ]

Well, I can explain how it stays up fairly well, but... [ She laughs a little, since this is the part that usually trips people up, so she's interested to see if an android might know anything more than the average person. ] It'll make sense, I promise, but so I know how much else I need to explain, how much do you know about quantum physics?

[ Though, wait, she guesses she could explain the easier part first. She holds up a hand lightly as if to pause the conversation, but right after, she starts an odd gesture. She starts to twirl a silver thimble around her pinky in a sort of idle gesture, but when that gesture calls attention to it, it's clear that her finger is significantly shorter than it should be. ]

To answer your other question, it doesn't need to refuel. As for supplies... I'm not completely sure, to be honest, but I don't know as much about Columbia as I maybe should. I think they trade with the United States a little, but it's mostly self-sufficient.

[Booze. Jotaro was fully prepared to dismiss her out of hand up to that point, because what the hell and also he's only just arrived today himself, but there's real promise in the idea of knowing what's available next time he wants to get tipsy.

[ She's definitely wry and a little playful, since even if Elizabeth likes it here, she's also well aware that she's in the minority. It's not hard to like Chroma when the alternative is a place like Columbia, though. Without thinking about it, the thought makes her reach for her hand where a silver thimble adorns an unnaturally short pinky. Absently, she starts to twist it around her finger, and it ends up coming as she steps forward curiously. ]

Oh— [ Elizabeth looks at the suitcase's contents, and almost immediately, her expression brightens with interest ] That's— It's all lovely.

[ And she sounds completely sincere, since, well. She's getting used to the whole "modern clothing" thing, and it's more from what people bring to Chroma than what you find lying around... ]

[ She did! Here she comes, traipsing towards him in said oversized blouse, which is kind of like a rather shapeless dress on her. Still, it's good enough, and she seems a lot more satisfied than-- well. Being naked. ]

[ Her expression of confusion is unsurprisingly completely genuine, since of ways to respond to her name, that, uh. Is not the one she was expecting. Her eyelashes flutter a little bit as if blinking would clear up the confusion, but she just ends up shaking her head before asking what comes to mind first. ]

...Why did she have to run?

[ She appreciates that he didn't just buck her off like a wild horse... cat...

Especially because she's still getting her bearings, going from inside the well to inside the well on a giant cat, to tightening her grip as he ricochets off the inside of the well and out of it. When he rolls his shoulders back, she releases her grip on his fur and slides unceremoniously off.

... And then bows? Thank you??? ]

[ Ari is grateful for her kindness. He's already trying to deal with waking up in a place he doesn't recognize at all. Getting a cold would only make things worse. ]

[ Belatedly, he remembers to introduce himself. ]

[ Is that how it works? She's admittedly never been in a situation like that where her survival depended on cooperating with strangers, but...

She tilts her head. She's definitely mulling this over. ]

[ After a long pause, she shakes her head-- a minimal motion, but right now, having someone close is better than being alone. Even when she's scared. Maybe because she's scared. ]

[ Whoa, whoa. His hands go up, palms open and facing his new companion. ]

No, no, definitely not! I promise I want to make peace and love, not trouble! I was just joking, honest.

[ She's not wrong. Kisa's giving this staff very thorough attention, and then slowly taking a deep breath (that makes no sound whatsoever) and nodding.

Hopefully it won't hurt? ]

[ Nope, she's going to shake her head pretty much immediately.

Which might explain why she's hiding, because with no one to cling to, she's had to resort to laying low and hoping she doesn't run into anyone accidentally.

That said, Momo just assumes that Sasuke is from some cool regional place like, say, Koyasan, and contents himself with memorizing these three names for the time being. Mitsuki is an easy one to remember, given that he also knows A Mitsuki. ]

[ Ari ends up adding the polite address simply because the vampire's forthright manner makes him feel outranked. Plus, he's still guilty about his earlier mistake. ]

[ At the sound of a voice behind them, Phos freezes and turns round on their heels, brows raised. The laptop teeters precariously on the palm of one of their hands, folded open. ]

I thought so.. [ common sense +1..? ] But so far it hasn't done anything, even when I shake it. If you could help me figure it out, I'd really appreciate it.

[ They can feel the gold give slightly as Lottie situates herself into it, Phos anxiously awaiting her to give them the OK—]

[ But maybe a little too anxiously, because they don't factor in how much lighter this person weighs compared to a gem. Too much too fast, the alloy snakes back up towards Phos at a rapid pace, and they all but fling Lottie up to the surface right alongside them with the velocity. ]

I’ve been here for about four months, I think? I’m not really keeping track but I was part of the first group. If you need actual dates I think someone here must have it written down.
