[He's not sure what to say to that, so he just listens and hums in acknowledgement.
Eventually though the cold seeps through his clothes and he rubs his arms as a result.]

[He's honestly surprised by that answer, his mouth slightly open. He motions around the room before he finally remembers how to words.]
I mean--It's just--It's so big! Usually only royalty live in houses this big, so... Or, um, at least they do where I'm from...
[Royalty are pretty much the only kind of important people in his world, so it's the only connection he can make.]
Getting a Goat with Mikleo
[His eyes brighten at this suggestion, for the pure reason that if they have a goat it means milk and milk means ice cream and ice cream is best when Mikleo makes it.
He turns back to face Mikleo with a big grin.]
Can we? A goat would help a lot, but... [He looks over at the door they came from.] We'd have to lead it all the way back.
[And he knows very well how picky those goats can be about being moved.]
Visiting Elysia with Mikleo
[He jolts fully awake the moment the ice cold water hits his face, gasping. When he's regained his bearings he fixes Mikleo with a huffy glare.]

[He wipes at his face with his dry sleeve, though that just transfers the water. He frowns, but remains sitting. At least he's awake now?]

[Sorey watches Izuku for a moment, the slump of the other boy's shoulders making him frown in concern.]
Alright, if you're sure...
[He steps out of the way of the door so Izuku can get to it. He smiles reassuringly.]
Lead the way? [It only seemed fair with how Izuku was acting about it. He figures maybe letting Izuku lead him into the room might help his nerves.]

Well, this house is pretty big. But I'm not royalty or anything like that. Where I come from anyone could buy a house like this if they have the money. And my mom's a famous actor so she makes a lot of money.
I think the only person I know who's close to being something like that is Granny--she's not really my granny, she's sort of like my boss? She was a baron's daughter, I think.

[He'll just keep rubbing his arms while he follows Rin.
Growing up on a mountain meant adapting to cold pretty easily, but since the weather in Chroma was pretty warm for a while since they'd arrived he kind of lost a lot of his cold tolerance.
When they're finally inside and it's mildly warmer he stops rubbing his arms quite so much. He takes a look around where they are.]

[It certainly is a big tree. It reminds him of the Great Tree in Marlind, though he thinks this one might be even bigger than that. He cranes his neck as he follows the trunk up, but can't see the top of the tree from where they are on the ground.]

[A pause as he finally registers the second half of what Maribelle said.]

A manakete is a type of dragon that can switch forms between a powerful creature of legend, and a human appearance with only a few signs that they're not quite what they seem. The one sleeping here is named Tiki, and she is centuries old.

[He looks up at the trees. Sometimes the trees had apples, but he wasn't sure if these trees would or not. This was Elysia, sure, but it wasn't completely the Elysia they knew after all.
It takes him a moment of searching before spotting an apple dangling from one of the high branches.]

[He points to it before looking back at Mikleo.]

[He smiles when Mikleo offers his hand, accepting it and letting himself be pulled up.]

They're spirits who embody natural events and phenomenon. Many people in the past worshiped them like gods because of their power. I was raised here by a bunch of them, so they're basically my family.

[Rin has explained a few things about demons, namely that they can't be seen without a demon wound or being of demonic heritage, but he never did bring up what a demon actually is.]
Basically where I'm from, there's actually two worlds. Assiah and Gehenna. We're in Assiah, and Gehenna is kind of a... a mirror image? Anyway, demons are in Gehenna and for the most part they can't really come to Assiah without possessing people or things.

[He listens quietly to the explanation and hums softly in acknowledgement when he's done.]

With seraphim they're both physical and spiritual beings. They can be in a vessel willingly or by force, though the latter almost never happens... But in both cases their power can be channeled through the human.
