A. Training

[After his brush with the creature in the forest going incredibly wrong, Izuku throws himself back into training, knowing that he has to get stronger and be able to hold his own in similar fights. Guren isn't going to conveniently be there to take a hit for him every time he's in danger, and he shouldn't have to be.

And so, anyone passing by the edge of the forest near Flavo might see Izuku training in the open space, wearing a dark grey tank top that doesn't cover the many obvious scars on his arms for once. They'll find him sitting on the ground, eyes closed, as green energy sparks over his skin. Instead of looking relaxed, though, he's clearly shaking from the effort of keeping his quirk activated at this level. There's even a pained sort of grimace on his face.]

B. Sharing the goods

[Being able to grab some things from the portals means that Izuku had access to a lot of things that he hasn't been able to in a while. Of course, that means...making sweets and sharing them!

Once the candy apples are done cooling, he'll be walking around the town with a tray of them and waving down the people he comes across.]

Would you like one? [With a bright smile, Izuku offers one of the apples, keeping a tight grip on the tray with his other hand.] I just made them! You should eat it while it's fresh.

C. Sew, a needle pulling thread

[When Izuku isn't running around town to feed people or training intensely, he finds a shady spot in the Flavo gardens that he settles down in to work on another project of his. This time, he's surrounded by a little pile of fabrics--mostly in various shades of grey.

Of course, it's not easy to sew when the fingers on your dominant hand are a bit crooked. The little plush (is it a bunny or a cat? It's hard to tell when it's kind of lopsided...) is coming along, but every so often, Izuku hisses and shakes out his left hand when he accidentally pricks himself with the needle.

It's been happening a lot. He might need some guidance with this.]

[Despite living in the Ruga district, Kairi can be spotted sometimes in the Flavo area to track down her dear friend Riku. However she's here for a different reason today! Riku had told her there were some gardens in the area, and she had grown very curious about them. She wants to know about the state they're in, and whether or not they're being used.

The girl is a little more surprised than she should be to see someone just chilling in the garden. What's he doing with all that stuff? She can't help her interest getting the better than her, and Kairi approaches with a wave.]

Ah hey there! I'm not interrupting, am I?

[inheritance]

[Izuku's hand slips as he looks up, and he gives a little squeak of surprise as he accidentally pokes himself with the needle again.]

H-hey! [With a sheepish smile, he shakes his hand out.] You're not interrupting!

[guideyouhome]

[Maybe not interrupting, but she definitely hears that squeak! It's only close up does she realize he's sewing.]

Ah I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you! Are you okay?

[inheritance]

Y-yeah, don't worry about it! I wasn't doing that great with it anyway...

[Izuku sets it aside for now, getting a better look at her.] Ah, was there something I could help you with? [He's pretty sure he hasn't seen her before.]

[Ah geez. She didn't mean to make him nervous, but she tries to smile it off.]

I'm actually here to check out the gardens! I've heard a few things about them, so I wanted to see them for myself.

[One of the many perks to having demonic blood is having keener senses than your average human, including a heightened sense of smell.

Spending all day in a kitchen making meals, though, does leave Rin a bit scent blind when he's inside the cafe. It's only when he steps outside for a break and some fresh air that he realizes there's something sweet lingering. Something not coming from his house.

He starts following it, not out of necessarily hunger but because he was curious about what it was. It was entirely different than what he'd been making for the past few months and had his attention.

So much so that he winds up completely focused on the smell and not the fact that it was likely being carried by someone. He rounds a corner and comes within centimeters of crashing in to Izuku's back.]

Whoa--!

[ dextera knew izuku had super strength, but it’s a little different seeing it so immediately and physically as with the sparks of green light. is he… training? dextera can’t really tell, when he looks like he’s just sitting there hurting himself. ]

…

[ slowly, carefully, he approaches, trying to give izuku a wide berth to notice him since he’s inevitably silent. ]

[inheritance]

[It's almost reflexive, the way Izuku smiles back at her immediately.]

Well, you found them! This area's just flowers, but there's another part of it that has the edible things we all share as a town.

[inheritance]

Wah! [That was a close call! Thankfully, Izuku's able to save the apples before they topple off the tray.]

Oh, Okumura-kun! [The smile returns quickly enough when Izuku turns around to see him.] In a hurry to go somewhere?

[inheritance]

[At first, Izuku's so immersed in his training that he doesn't notice Dextera's presence. It's only when his control slips a little that Izuku finally releases his quirk, wincing when he stretches himself out after that.

He turns his head and finally, his eyes find Dextera's. The frustrated look immediately melts into a little smile.]

Dextera-san! How long have you been there?

[he looks down at the candied apple, curious.]

... What are those? I've never seen apples like that.

[inheritance]

Candied apples! [Izuku waves his hand, the apple in question moving along with it.]]

They're regular apples inside, just covered with a layer of candy! I would've made cookies, but with the restriction on how many things we coupd bring back from the portals, I figured these would be easier.

[It's nice having a source of fruit that he can just use over here.]

[for the love of - is she ever going to see you when you aren't injuring yourself somehow???]

... Would you like some assistance?

[inheritance]

[Look, at least this time, the "injuries" aren't anywhere near his usual kind. This is pretty tame, for him.]

Ah, Maribelle-san! [Izuku looks down at his sewing project and gives a sheepish laugh.] I guess I could use some tips, if you have any.

Todoroki | Quest 20

[inheritance]

[It no longer surprises Izuku when he pokes his head into the room and finds Shouto curled up in the blankets. With a grin, Izuku joins him, sprawling onto his stomach as he opens his laptop again.]

Looks like #FFFFFF posted the next set of quests. [With a soft little laugh, Izuku props his chin on his hand and looks over at Shouto.] It's too bad these weren't on the last set.

[glaciers]

[Shouto shuts his own laptop and rolls over so he can share Izuku's. His face is gently pressed against Izuku's shoulder.

Cozy.]

... If I knew that was going to be one of the quests, I might've waited.

[He would not have done that, actually.]

[ditherer]

[don't drop the apple, izuku...]

I imagine one has to get creative with their ingredients here...

[inheritance]

[Imagine the apple falling to the ground, uneaten. Truly tragic. Thankfully, it's spared from this sad fate, at least for today.]

Normally you would, but... I actually managed to get what I needed from the portals that showed up not too long ago.

[ditherer]

... They weren't hidden in your [stalker love] shrine, were they?

[inheritance]

[Izuku tilts his head so he can playfully rest it against Shouto's.]

Would you have really waited?

[As nice as fulfilling a quest sounds, Izuku thinks he would've been too impatient himself to wait that long.]

[glaciers]

No.

[Immediate and blunt. The moment he realized what his feelings were, he bolted back home to talk to Izuku about them.

There's no way he could've held out.]

[inheritance]

I told you, it's not a shrine! [It technically is.]

But no... all the ingredients were in the kitchen downstairs.

[inheritance]

[And just like that, the beginnings of a pout immediately disappear.]

I wouldn't have either. [Even though he had been incredibly nervous about the whole thing at first, Izuku thinks that his feelings would have come out in one way or another.]

[glaciers]

[He shifts a bit so he can loop an arm around Izuku's chest.]

I like this way too much to wait for it.

Do you have any other deep feelings you'd like to tell me about?

[inheritance]

[Izuku pushes his laptop away now so he can shift closer with a bashful little smile.]

I might have a few things I feel strongly about. [Actually, all this talk about feelings and the quest has reminded him of something he thinks back to pretty often.]

One of them being...[He pauses, a blush spreading across his cheeks. He's just going to go for it!] I think I still owe you a date.
