Ichimatsu | unicorn quest

Man. This is stupid as hell, right? It's not just me?

[ They met up in the middle of town, and now they're heading out to try and catch a unicorn, because what the fuck is her life besides one long unfortunate comedy? She's got her arms folded behind her head, meandering without real purpose. ]

Deku | chimera quest

[ she hates this, for the record.

it's probably pretty clear from the surly set of her shoulders, but, well. ]

You know, I probably wouldn't agree to this bullshit at all except for the fact that you're probably the perfect person to do this quest with? You're adorable. Who the hell would say no to holding hands with you? Someone heartless, that's who.

Clark | apple quest

You really trust me to do this, huh?

[ She's got a smile on her face as she approaches him at their agreed-upon meeting spot. Well, she's always happy to see Clark, but she's even happier than usual because this batshit quest sounds actually fun. ]

You sure? What if I accidentally blew your head off, huh?

[ the way she nudges him is her indicator that she's joking, though that (hopefully) goes without saying. ]

Shouto | chimera quest

[hypertoxic]

[ They meet at the well, because it's become a sort of regular meeting spot for them. Vriska's sitting on the lip of it, elbows on her knees and her chin cupped in her palms. Her expression is quite flat. ]

Why are these quests always so stupid, Shouto? Why does the mysterious, malevolent entity that runs this joint have such frankly bizarre ideas of what counts as, like, an apparently important thing to do? There's basically no coherence to it! One moment it's defending the whole town from deadly threats, and the next it's snuggling up to a fucking unicorn. Why! Is! This! Place! So! Stupid!

[ ............................ she's fine. ]

I am? [This is news to him! But he'll follow Vriska anyway, trotting along beside her so that their hands stay linked together.]

Um, and I don't know about that. I can think of a few people who wouldn't want to.

[Bakugou is definitely at the top of that list...]

[Shouto lifts his hand in a little wave. Her complaining is very normal, so he doesn't really take any of it to heart. Does he have to answer one of them... probably.]

Mr. F likes variety, I think. Not everybody can fight a werewolf.

Did you snuggle a unicorn?

[ Vriska will wave back, a smile creeping across her face. She still wrinkles her nose. ]

Yeah, well, that's nice. Fuck Mr. F, though.

[ The question gets a kind of arch look, and she'll push off the well, floating next to him. ]

I dunno, have you?

[ weird it's almost like she's avoiding the question ]

Who the hell wouldn't want to be around you? Some kind of enormous asshole?

she's just saying. ]

Not yet... I think Izuku could snuggle with a unicorn though.

[It's too bad it's not a blue or yellow quest. They could snuggle with a unicorn together.

But now that she's floating, he'll take her hand in his left.]

[ That makes Vriska crack up laughing, which helps her get past the sharp initial embarrassment that comes with Shouto holding her hand. She's pretty blue in the face, but she'll play it off like it's no big deal. She's content to float alongside him, like an extraordinarily fussy balloon. ]

Right? I can totally picture that! Hell, they'd probably come to him and not the other way around.

[glaciers]

[He won't mention the blush, but he does note the blue blood(?). He always thought it was just an expression. Not to mention... ghosts have blood? It's already an enlightening quest day and it's barely started.]

If anybody is a pure maiden, it's Izuku. Just set him out and wait for unicorns to show up.

[He'll take his fussy balloon friend and start walking into the forest.]

[Izuku pauses, looking torn, before he smiles at her gently.]

That's...nice of you to say, Serket-san, but it's okay! J-just because someone doesn't like me doesn't make them an asshole.

As long as my friends like me, that's all that matters, right?
