[ damian has no idea how true that is. purification means death. to remove all distortion is to kill a person, and once an idea sephirah has been made, there’s no way to recreate the body from which it came. dextera can control his powers, yes, but his powers have an outcome he’d rather ignore. the archangel wants to use them for the same purposes, apparently, as damian’s grandfather—and while damian seems to feel his grandfather is unquestionably wrong, there’s a part of dextera that’s still loyal to the archangel’s mission.
