[ dance with prom princess? though despite it all, she's a little deflated. balls and parties were never her scene, and she often gritted her teeth and beared with it because of the expectations put on her. here those expectations don't exist (neither do they at home, not anymore) and so she spends most of her time afterward sitting and watching others dance. anyone can approach her at this time if they are feeling bold.
but after some time when festivities are quieter, people may have begun leaving to go home and rest, she'll come up to those still straggling- ]
